  1. I never did post these in this thread. Here's my pick-up's over the last month.
  2. Check the Edenwald pedigree on GPA for the #38.
  3. Both the #35 and #38 sold back in 2007 for $500 less than what we paid for them. GPA actually came in handy for once. I'd say whoever was the original owner made a nice profit off of us. I'm honestly surprised somebody paid $850 for the #63 though. Maybe that was you too . Then again, I paid I paid $650 for a #60 9.6 copy from Mark a couple years ago and those have been selling for about $1500 a pop on the ComicLink focused auctions lately. BTW, a #34 9.4 with OW/W pages sold on 3/18/09 Comiclink focused auctions for $905. Somebody will probably pick up the PGC copy.
  4. I heard from Mark this morning--he tells me his new batch of listings is a consignment from someone. I think I snagged a few of them--or so I hope. I picked up the #35. I wanted to pick up the #38 too, but somebody beat me to the punch. Maybe it was you?
  5. Nice! Definitely one of my favorite issues. Doesn't have the red ink defect along the top part of the cover either like a lot of #67s.
  6. The BLH corner is slightly blunted which can be seen in the picture and a small color breaking line on Sue's shoulder. Other than that, the book looks flawless. I need to compare it to my #67 9.6 which is also a white cover.
  7. The FedEx man just dropped this one off. Seriously tempted to resub this one and see if its grades a 9.6. Its a beauty.
  8. Rube, looks like great minds think alike. I bought this one a few days ago. Hasn't shown up to my door yet though.
  9. I knew something seemed fishy with that cover! Good catch on the cover reproduction! All of a sudden, $4000 for that book seems incredibly high.
  10. First of all, I know the pictures are pretty awful. I didn't take them. A local guy on craigslist is selling this book for $4000. Says its in NM- condition. Sounds too good to be true right? Probably is, but I figured I'd ask here first. First thing that I notice is the cover looks smaller than the interior pages, especially on the back cover. Looks blatently trimmed to me. What are your thoughts? The 2nd thing I notice is the pages look C/OW but the cover looks bone white. Is this pretty normal? Not sure if another cover was married or what. Still worth $4000? Probably going to pass, but I wanted members opinions. TIA!
  11. I think you should sell it to me. Nice book! I've been looking for a 9.6 copy.
  12. This one just showed up at my door. Snagged it off of the latest CL auctions.
  13. Bought this one yesterday. Cant wait to get it in the mail. Has somewhat of sentimental value since this was the first F.F. comic I owned. My dad gave it to me from his original collection. Its probably only in GD condition, so this one should be a nice upgrade. Doesn't have the red ink bleeding along the top edge of the cover like you see on a lot of #67's.
  14. One of my favorite covers! I've got a CGC 9.6 copy of this one on the way. I'll post pictures when I get it.
  15. My girlfriend bought this one for me last week on ebay for our anniversary. We've been dating for 3 years. I received it yesterday in the mail. Shipped it to CGC today.
  16. Im jealous. I sent in a copy of #95 and got a 9.2. I was really hoping for a 9.4.
