  1. I know what you slabbed last summer. But this is bargain day.
  2. My Starlin collection groweth. And I guess I'm finally on the price variant train.
  3. Philip was super easy to work with when I bought his Conan #1. He shipped fast, communicated well, and made it an easy experience. I'd be happy to do business with him again.
  4. It's very easy if you buy what you like. Yep. Although you end up liking far too much. That.
  5. Adam missed one! Holy smokes! And that Hansi! comic is just...so weird. Why was that a thing in 1976? The comics I'm chasing are meager this time and due to end Wednesday night. As for what I'm selling, I'm almost at my projected total and should surpass it by the time things are done. Even so, some books did a good bit worse than I had hoped, but a few did better.
  6. Have you played with the input color settings? It can be tricky but you can get a more accurate representation of the actual comic.
  7. So I bought this book from Heritage. It was one I was watching, and I tuned into the auction right as it hit the block, and not by purpose. I was a bit surprised, but I clicked the button, bingo, high bid. Someone outbid me? Okay, I bid again. Damned, next thing you know, I'd bought it. They called it a 1.0. And yes, it got a 1.0. But it's a heck of a lot better looking than when I got it. It was spine rolled badly, but the presser did a great job and has it looking really nice. The interior issues keep it from grading higher, even if only slightly higher. It's a nice one for the grade and the price. Solid entry level for someone.
  8. The other two books I recently offered sold, but this one remains. I'd rather move it here. Hopefully, the CLink guy won't get too irritated that I sent him a list of three books of which two have been sold, assuming this one goes in the next day or two. So here it is again: X-Men #1 CGC 1.0 blue Will you find a nicer 1.0? Sure, if you look long enough. Will you find one for this price? Yeah, probably. But will you find one right now when either you, your father, or your mother needs a copy? Probably not. However you look at things, this copy will run you $1000 $935 USD shipped and insured. If not for the cut coupon, it'd grade a touch higher. Be sure to read the label for more info on that. Otherwise, click the scans for bigger pics. External defects are obvious. Hero Restoration also pressed this one. And let me tell you, it was all out whack when Mike got it in his hands.
  9. REFERENCES Kudos thread ebay ID - brother17 ACCEPTED PAYMENT Paypal only. Payment expected within 5 calendar days of invoice. TERMS OF SALE First unconditional in either the thread or PM wins, by time stamp. If you have shamed yourself or are a listed reprobate, I will not sell to you. If you're just a knockburger who gets on my nerves, I don't mind selling to you. I generally prefer not to return slabs, but if you state your wish to do so within 7 calendar days of receipt of the book via USPS tracking, then I generally don't have a problem with it. Just don't make a premature purchase. Buyer's remorse sucks for everyone. If I do a job packaging a book and it arrives busted, then yeah, we'll fix that. By we, I mean insurance. SHIPPING Included in the cost. Comes via USPS Priority with signature. Any added shipping services are at your cost.
  10. Didn't really find much else worth adding. Just two oversized Kirby books that I don't know how I'd mail.
  11. Ya, good news. Makes me want to see what I have that needs some slabbin'.
  12. My last two submissions were notably on time.
  13. That's it for now I will add a few more things, but not a whole lot more probably.
