  1. You guys stop bumping this. I'm trying to resist temptation, too. Great thread, though, always love this seller's books.
  2. Sorry, the web page's behavior got wonky and posted a comic (a Cap) that I had tried to delete, so I edited it out. I do want the two above, please.
  3. I get that. I have seen, of all things, plastic grocery bags used to good effect with packaging tape. Plastic wrap is a nice idea but can get excessive, too. Anyhow, I just end up not buying from those sellers. And I think making it easy for your buyers to unpackage the goods is important, too. And not everyone out there has steady hands, especially as older collectors. It's a nicety and good business imo. But to each their own. Buyers can always move on if they don't like a seller's practices.
  4. That's the problem. I've been very careful using a blade to separate comics tightly bound to one another with packaging tape on the sleeves and left blade impressions or just damaged comics. There are so many ways to do the same thing without people needing tools or risking stress or damage to the comics.
  5. Good transaction all around. Magazines were in great shape. Galen is friendly and professional throughout.
  6. What grade is the Space Ghost, please? I will take the remainder. Thanks.
  7. I love the ones loose in a comic mailer, bouncing their way across the USA.
  8. Would you ************* stop applying packaging tape directly to comic sleeves when sending people comics and magazines!? Thanks, I feel better. Sort of.
  9. I love the character. I encourage Mister Miracle fans to read Tom King's and Mitch Gerard's Mister Miracle if they haven't already. I was struggling as the parent of a small child when I read it, and it was really moving.
  10. I do not like it. The characters aren't compelling. The plot isn't interesting. I never found the comic character that interesting either. I'm just not a Moonie, I suppose.
  11. I will take this at 15% off. Thanks.
  12. I love seeing these. If I am ever in your part of the woods, I want to see your keepers. But I'm a little afraid of that basement.
  13. Ya, that is beautiful 😍. So many classic elements in that composition.
  14. to go with the others from G/S/B
  15. I bought from Jim Corrigan only once or twice, but I remember clearly how nice the books were and how well graded. GLWTS!
  16. His junque? His lovely Tuppenny junque? What's he gonna do with all that junque? Sorry, I've been resisting the urge to post that all morning, but this tipped me over.
  17. I really, really like both Purves's and MacFarlane's Hulk covers. I like some of Mignola's, too, if we're looking at the 0.65 to 0.75 range. Speaking of MacFarlane, I think the Hulk covers and Marvel Tales covers are really fantastic and deserve more attention.
