  1. Can a 1.0 include something like a missing centerfold? I know it should be on the label, but I wonder what the grader notes include.
  2. It really is a classic, timeless series.
  3. Ya, that's the trick. Find something you think is already priced well, go for discount.
  4. 102-03 I still enjoy both of these titles. The Hawkman had a plague doctor spin, and the Olsen series remains a clever take on the classic series.
  5. I did it. I am not unhappy. Now I owe Bob more money, but not much more. I got 15% for the first, then 75% for the second. So I spent $26 for two slabbed high grade Star Wars I need. I'll ask him to ship with the order he's already holding, and send him a check for these now. Then I will have a sweet, sweet box of comics to open in two months. Incidentally, I also got a new desktop background.
  6. Mine is open and reports that they're doing fine. Not rockin' it or anything, but fine. They have been well run and do a lot of successful sales that draw big crowds, so I wonder if they'll try and do anything similar. I've been showing up weekly instead of every 2-3 weeks like I did pre-COVID and spending a bit more than I usually do.
  7. 98-101 The Crack Comics I bought for the cover, but it's fun to see modern takes on a classic comic. The Immortal Hulk I bought because I'm just wowed by Ross's covers on this title, but the story was quite good, too. I read the first 20 or so of these and was really impressed with the writing. If this issue is any indication, it's maintaining that quality, which is tough for 30+ issues. I bought the Amethyst comics with the same mild chagrin I had as a kid buying the 80's series. I told the clerk not to laugh at me or I would cry and not come back. He pointed at me and laughed anyway. Then I cried for a while, but I still like the comics. They remind me of Ken Garing's recent Gogor series. The main character is really well written, the plot is intriguing, the art is compelling, and it's been a fun series so far.
  8. I was at the age as a kid where I could start grasping social issues when this book was published, and it had a deep impact on me. Just seeing that cover stirs those same feelings I had reading it.
  9. He did say reputable boardies.
  10. This one is in a short box at my place. I guess it slipped getting marked as sold
  11. I wish I could grab the BB 116 but have to complete a time payment. That is the kind of comic where you don't care if there's restoration or not. In fact, you might get a nice looking copy for a good price because of it. Great offerings, thanks for making them available here, GLWTS!
  12. I've sold $694 over the last week in email and Clink Exchange. But I still think a drag is coming.
  13. 96 and 97. I have a phat omnibus started. I'm really digging the first two issues in the collection.
  14. Asif and I have had a few transactions now. In each, he is cordial, professional, and clear in his communications. He made a Silver Surfer #4 available to me, and I'm happy to add it to my collection. Thanks, @MusterMark!
  15. Adventure Time #1A, 9.8 CGC SS https://www.ebay.com/itm/164232757991
  16. I'm eager to see what's coming, El Capitan. I am still psyched about that Kamandi number one. What other Kirby 9.4 from this DC era could you get at this price? And Kamandi was his most popular DC title that ran the longest.
