  1. They have plenty of time to make changes. Wish I had more to watch. This is the quality of renditions we wish we had for all our TV shows and Movies
  2. Why? His appearance was the only part of the teaser that impressed me. He looks lifeless, a sort of blank stare.... the Thing has to project warmth. he isn't just a pile of organized rocks.
  3. That'd kinda be like Spider-Man getting beat by some F-listers like...oh, say Guardians of the Galaxy. Yup. I think Disney/Marvel will continue to make better movies. They respect the fans and audience and are in it for the long haul. They genuinely care and that's what's missing from Sony and Fox.
  4. I liked it, more of a real-world costume... the other option is something that's skin tight. He needs protection. You saw what happens without a (proper)costume on this show with its realistic violence. As DD fans we are used to the tights but I think this is a good compromise. Perhaps they will tweak it a little and make it more form fitting.
  5. latest sale $749.99 !! Very few of these slabbed in high grade. I have a feeling that will change in a few months http://www.ebay.com/itm/221733062456?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  6. I hope the wait before the next one (DD) isn't too long but its certainly worth it. I have a good feeling about this and believe we will have more
  7. Wearing a costume with some Kevlar like protection doesn't change the current show, this entire production is on a different level from those others.
  8. Marvel is leading the way once again. The show is amazing, Love it, easy 9 out of 10 ! got this from Facebook........... Yesterday, Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn posted a heartfelt review on his facebook page for Marvel's new Netflix series, Daredevil. Gunn admits that he is hard to please when it comes to television shows, but he gladly adds Daredevil to his list of must watch shows, which also includes Game of Thrones, Better Call Saul and Black Sails. Clearly, the man has good taste. Add in the fact, Gunn devoured comic books as kid and then grew up to make one of the most beloved comic book movies of all-time, you have to consider that his opinion carries more weight than the average person. James Gunn wrote: I have loved the character of Daredevil since I was a little boy. Outside of Batman, Daredevil probably has more great comic book arcs than any other character. From Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli to Kevin Smith to Ed Brubaker and on and on, the character has elicited some of the best work from some of the greatest comic book storytellers. So I was a bit frightened last night when I dug into the new Marvel's Daredevil Netflix series. I'm a rough TV critic - I love five or so shows on the air right now, but that's about it - and I didn't want to see one of my favorite characters come up short. On top of that I really like Steven S. DeKnight, the showrunner, and Drew Goddard, the creator, both as people and as creative forces (Spartacus, Cloverfield, Cabin in the Woods, etc). Well, I love it. The cast is great. Charlie Cox is just awesome, and Elden Henson is about as an amazing a Foggy as I could have imagined. The fight sequences stand alongside Spartacus and Rome as some of the best TV fight sequences ever (so, the best TV fight sequences ever not performed in togas). And the scripts have been touching and on point and true to the character. In the first few episodes, I cried twice: once in a scene between young Matt and battling Jack, and again when I realized this character I loved so much for so long had been brought to television with such spirit, love, and care. What I'm saying is, there's a huge Marvel event going on right now, and it's Daredevil on Netflix. I hope you guys check it out.
  9. I am guessing the new spin-off will be Deathlok... He hasn't been developed very much yet but a good addition to the new or current show
  10. I think it will. It will also continue to increase the Marvel fans.... Its a long term plan and Disney is doing it right.
  11. Exactly. Has Black Goliath ever appeared in a comic before? No? Then it's the First Appearance of Black Goliath. Dispute that. no Disputing it, and it should be at the very least Origin and first appearance of Black Goliath (Bill Foster) . Ringmaster & Circus of crime appearance At some point he also becomes Giant Man 2 and whatever else. (Goliath ?) Bill Foster was around long before he becomes different superhero's and your right the label's shouldn't imply that its all new when its not
  12. Its a new copy and more will be submitted soon since it got the attention, just someone taking advantage of the current census and profit potential
  13. Hey, I've been hyping Power-man 24 as an "undiscovered gem" for a while now. And WTF is all this "Origin of XXX" BS? It's the first appearance of Black Goliath, no question, yet CGC seems to want to give "Origin" to any older books with pre-existing hero (or even normal) characters. With Modern ones, it's always "First Appearance of XXX" (to let comic shops/member firms hype the readily-available books) like the idiotic "First Appearance of Winter Soldier" (ummmm, Bucky's been around for decades). I knew this was coming.... Ive been trying to get this book for awhile now for the same reason. Even trying to get JC to sell me his, to no avail. This is big guy's first app...clear cut. Yeah, he was Bill Foster was around since early SA Avengers, but he had no powers or anything prior. I guess I missed out on my shot if this ugly copy went for all those $$. Label should read.... Bill Foster becomes Black Goliath. Origin of Black Goliath, Ringmaster & Circus of crime appearance
  14. Conan annual 2 CGC 9.8 ...... $ 541.00 !! http://www.ebay.com/itm/271816807663?_trksid=p2047675.m570.l4478&_trkparms=gh1g%3DI271816807663.N18.S2.M-24.R1.TR10
  15. Marvel / Disney is going to do it again! this will be FAN - Tastic !!!
  16. Tales of Suspense 77, CGC 9.2 $231.50 with 20 bids http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tales-of-Suspense-77-CGC-9-2-OW-WH-1st-app-of-Ultimo-/231497266385?autorefresh=true&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=z7KCm3Db8cmw2cKQ1aRVcf1Ii9w%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
  17. Having the innocent youthful face of a teenager(she is 32) is a big hindrance
  18. I liked her as a reporter in House of Cards but she doesn't fit as Sue, too short and she doesn't have that perception of class and sophistication needed for the role
  19. It's so disappointing when obvious non comic lovers get their hands on the characters. When the camera and microphones are on they all say how much they read and enjoy them. STAY TRUE to marvel characters. the movies that do make the most money
