Hi everyone - my name is Mike. I've been a lurker for a few months on the boards. I began collecting as a teenager in the mid-late 80's and only recently got back into it. I remember being at my local comic book store then and having a chance to buy IH 181 for $30 but turned it down to buy $30 of now worthless Peter Parker and Web of Spidey issues. I did recently pick up a 9.2 issue of IH 181, but sadly, not for $30 I'm a huge fan of Silver/early Bronze ASM's, Hulks, anything with Dr Doom. I've had some awesome experiences buying from fellow boardies recently and look forward to many more!

Just bought a slabbed book from Mike and couldn't be happier. Very smooth transaction. His communication was excellent and the book looks even better than I had hoped.

I've never posted here before but I had to weigh in. The person who bought the book (not me) is aware of this thread. That person is not "in" with anyone at CGC, so they did not buy the blue label. There is no conspiracy. CGC screwed up, plain and simple. The buyer did not believe the book to be trimmed so they resubbed and here you have it. A blue label. The solution is NOT for the book to be returned so it can be purple labeled. CGC should pay Spider Dan FMV for their screw up. The buyer and seller should not be the ones punished for a professional grading company's mistake.
