  1. That cover has everything doesn't it? GGA, Horror, Skulls, bondage, Japanese in hoods, even over-the -top non-pc racial stereotypes... Just about everything that made Wertham wet himself. I Love it!
  2. I bought a subscription to Mad for why kid (secretly for me!) And this months issue there is a hilarious Parody of the Great Pumpkin... If i think about it I'll take photos and I'll post it. WL
  3. It's hard to believe this thread is allowed to stay... (My morning posts on this very topic got pulled). So yeah, I'll bite — My gripe is that this isn't the 1st time and it literally blows my mind that they haven't found a solution to these types of foul ups. I know nobody's perfect, but daaaaaaaamn dude!
  4. On that Junior - I've always loved how Saturn seems to be flying out of her bum!
  5. yes sir... Even more strange is that he photoshopped out the interior staple holes. I had a colleague here at the office that is a novice forward me this and ask it is was a good deal. I told him is was a beautiful fake and I asked him what the dead give away was... What's even crazier is that this guy has such a high eBay rating with this ploy.

  7. I finally get to go to this show and compare it to my favorite show Heroes Con. I've been wanting to for years, but my wife's birthday is Labor day and it made it out of the question.
  8. I like this story idea, but I'll pass the freebie... I bought my first book in spring of '75 and I was hooked. I didn't have many comics so I read this one many times, many of the other books I were reader hand me downs from my brothers. I never had any money growing up so I picked up pop bottles on the highway to recycle so I could afford to buy candy, sodas, slurpees and comics. Throughout the years I collected many books, but was a completist for Amazing. It took many years (over 35 off and on) to complete my run AF15–ASM 700. But once I had them all my journey wasn't complete until I had Stan sign my first copy on the Indica. The old convenient store is still here in Durham that I bought my cherished copy from still exists today. This will be the only book I don't think I can sell...
