  1. Right, that would break the chain of custody that they (try to) stick to.
  2. Crossover is still on there. Maybe I asked about the pre-screen crossover?
  3. Interesting, yes. That's what he told me. The special was over and he hadn't seen any new pricing.
  4. Agreed. I spoke with a representative this week and they said they have not received any pricing information for moving forward.
  5. 'Walking Dead' Shocker: Danai Gurira to Exit (Exclusive) https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/walking-dead-danai-gurira-exit-1184189
  6. There is definitely a premium for this book, as I have mentioned before.
  7. I don't think they did in the past. There are enough labels that are wrong to prove that. But they have set a precedence, and let's face it, a business in graded Modern's around what the label says. When do you decide what's important and what's not? Say a character gets hot in 5 years and then they start labeling it. There will be 5 years of books that don't have it on the label. Look at the amount of information on a Golden Age book. There is not near the same amount with Modern's. They label "Joker Cover"s. Yes, I can see Joker is on the cover of the book I'm holding, ha.
  8. Isn't the notation on the label part of what people are paying for? I believe it is.
  9. Yea, the Target one in the picture above shows more than 5 for sure. The people that I have seen online that have bought multiples of Superman 7 went to multiple stores. You want to know how Walmart makes money? Just the sheer volume and other things people buy when in the store. I pre-ordered the Venom exclusive movie and had it set to pickup at my local store. When I got there to pick it up they had actually shipped it from somewhere else via UPS to that store. Mind you they had some on the shelves that they could have just pulled and set aside. It boggled my mind that it's profitable to do that.
  10. Ah, interesting. I would have assumed holding some back for the grading but the other two covers they are "selling" all of them. Yes, conventions would be my guess.
  11. I've never seen or heard of a Walmart having more than 5 on a shelf. Some have said they re-stock. But I'm weary of that myself. Also, they do not stock these at every store. I would guess every superstore has them which is 3,500.

  13. Was it this one? Interestingly has not been commented on since the Spider-Verse movie. https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/topic/435934-4-modern-characters-buyspec-sell-or-hold/?page=5

  15. Pretty much all the sold listings say 1st Bloodshot.
  16. A book like that has been in Key Collector for a while. Check their feedback. Does it look like they normally buy comics or just random things. The reason I ask it because if it's all from the same person that usually happens when they are getting comics for "investment". I had a guy mad at me once because he didn't know what an ashcan was and bought a bunch of Ghost in the Shell ashcans from different sellers on eBay, including me. He thought it was the full size #1 issue he was getting. He was complaining about how his "investors" were going to be mad.
  17. CGC has said they will not name Gotham City Sirens #1 the 1st appearance. I don't see why JLD #1 would not fall under those same rules. The first arc is about getting all of the team together. JLD is only the name of the comic. Are they named in a later comic? I would also say there is contention between collectors as to unnamed but formed team with Swamp Thing #49, #50 and Annual #2.
  18. Quick responses to emails, which is much appreciated. Fast payment as well. No complaints!
  19. True, not sure I see either really making a big change in value over the next three years. But, Rick bailed because they are doing 3 feature movies with him now.
  20. Yes, 9.8. I mean, we could go down through all the grades if we wanted. 9.6 Looks like it peaked at the first movie announcement and dropped a little and has maintained that. Probably the 15% drop you are talking about.
  21. I don't think you can argue that WD can cast a bigger net than Deadpool. Marvel & DC will for the foreseeable future have more fans and thus more buyers. But, WD could fall into that long term independent that is always sought after and thus higher value. Think TMNT. Obviously TMNT is a huge property, so not to that level, but similar trajectory.
