    They are similar, but the art for the new cover was done for a statue a while back.

    I don't believe any of these have been used for comics. They were art developed to make Sideshow statues from. He may have offered them as prints at one point.

    Well, true. SW isn't in $1 bins. But the variants are. And that's why the print run was so high. There were about 100 variants for that one.

    How many printings did Star Wars go do a couple years back and the first print was the highest in a decade or more.

    Smart marketing. Some people don't scour the internet like some of us on here. You ever see what the Ross store charges? Same setup as the one you described.

    This is getting a lot of hype. I really don't think it's that great and don't understand the context of the image. But once one of the groups post it, others latch on. Also, Chew has been starting to get noticed a little more. His last Flash cover was nice. Expect a load of store variants from him in the future.

    I don't blame any shop for running the business the way they are. I have the choice to spend my money there or take it elsewhere.

    If it's jacked up the day of its release, that is flipping. Whether it's a customer or store. What your calling "flipping" is actually just selling at the current market rate on eBay.

    SM 2009, while has been sought after over the years, is temporary spike at the current time. ASM #654 2nd Print has big difference as well.

    It's 2019, not 1977. Every person that works for that company has a high quality camera in their pocket. They also have multiple scanners which would do an even better job or providing photographic evidence.

    Right, that was how they used to be. But they don't make newsstands anymore. However, Marvel is now apparently. Walmart would be considered a newsstand, correct, not a comic shop?
