Todd was awesome. Hard to discuss new things about a book that ended years ago after 5 issues. In fact, none of those series are currently being published that were mentioned.

A 9.8 and a 9.2 have sold this year.

Last two sold for $25 and $30. Lower than I would have expected.

Interesting, but it looks like that story came out 5 hours ago. The auction on the 9.8 ended two days ago and it was from the least reputable company.

A #1 9.8 from another company ended just over the $2k mark. I thought the bottom was falling out on this as some had claimed on here?

Um, Chew ended, TWD has been losing interest for about a year and Saga is on a year long break. Saga however is still a favorite story among fans and #1 is still holding strong on value as is the RRP and TWD #1 is still holding as well.

OP probably has the only sale point of #1 that is listed on GPA from 2009. Notice also the label does not list the price variants. These were done before the notation was added. No 8.5 variants on the census. So, what I'm getting at is yes, GPA is useful, but you need some sale points to get the value out of it. These I agree, just put it up for auction or a price you would be very happy to part with them and see what happens.

What do they mean "what happened...". Are they referring to this thread? Myself, along with the other regular contributors stopped giving out free candy. There are thousands that read this thread and there were about 5-10 that contributed something. I'm sure these dealers were the ones looking for the handouts as well. Also, there are a lot more sources to get what's selling than there were 5 years ago. Scour the internet like the rest of us and you will find plenty of new books that sell. Carnage Mind Bomb, month old. Avengers 346 and Hulk 418-419 two weeks old. You have to be a lot quicker now than 5 years ago as well because there are plenty of undercutters now.
