Interesting. What was your cost to switch the lighting? It's relatively low (about $100 for a commercial grade 2x4, material only), but still more overhead than most shops can or want to absorb. I stopped in a shop while traveling today. They had a big rack that was filled with magazines right by the front door. All faded to hell.

LED lighting does not cause fading. It's the UV found in sunlight and fluorescents.

Exactly. One shop I visit does this. They also have a case, out of harms way for the most part. There is a Silver Surfer #4in it, listed as VF/NM. Price...$900

They only sell in slabbed 9.8 really. I've been checking all the ones I see now. Haven't found one I think is worthy of grading yet.
