Diane Pershing is coming to Garden State Comic Fest: AC Edition April 7-8th at the Showboat Hotel Atlantic City!!Over the years, Diane has had lead cartoon characters in projects such as Dale Arden in Flash Gordon, Pearl Pureheart in The Adventures of Mighty Mouse, Netossa in She-Ra: Princess of Power, and Dynak X in Defenders of the Earth. However, she is most notable for her iconic portrayal as Poison Ivy in Batman: The Animated Series, The New Batman Adventures, Gotham Girls, and Justice League. Overlapping her VO career, the years have also seen her finding success as a TV writer, romance novelist, film critic and radio disc jockey.   2. Bob Budiansky is coming to Garden State Comic Fest: AC Edition April 7-8th at the Showboat Hotel Atlantic City!! Bob is a comic book writer, editor, and penciller, best known for his work on Marvel's Transformers comic.Budiansky worked at Marvel Comics for approximately 20 years. He is responsible for much of the writing of the original Marvel Transformer comic, and conceived the names of most of the original Transformers, including Decepticon leader Megatron, Autobot medic Ratchet, and Decepticon Ravage. He also wrote the vast majority of the descriptive "tech spec" biographies printed on the Transformers toy packages that Hasbro produced in the 1980s, giving each figure unique personality quirks. After a long hiatus from the Transformers mythos, Budiansky scripted a new adaptation of the original 1986 The Transformers: The Movie for IDW Publishing in honor of the film's 20th anniversary. Bob has also worked as a penciller. He drew the final years of the Johnny Blaze/Zarathos version of Ghost Rider, including drawing the majority of Ghost Rider covers from 1978 to 1983. From 1983 till 1996, Budiansky was on staff at Marvel as an editor. During this period, Budiansky oversaw such titles as Fantastic Four and Daredevil and the Spider-Man Clone Saga. Tom DeFalco is coming to Garden State Comic Fest: AC Edition April 7-8th at the Showboat Hotel Atlantic City!!Tom is a comic book writer and editor, well known for his association with Marvel Comics and in particular for his work with Spider-Man. Working on over 4000 comics through the years including The Amazing Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Captain America, Machine Man, Spider-Girl, Thor, Thunderstrike, and Archie to name a few. Tom also co-created such notable characters as Rose, Black Fox, Spider-Girl, Dazzler, and Silver Sable In the early 80’s, Tom worked closely with toy manufacturer Hasbro heading the creative team that produced the backstory and dossiers that served as the basis for the relaunch of the phenomenally successful G.I. Joe toy line and animated television show. As part of this relaunch, Marvel produced a comic titled G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero in which DeFalco personally edited the first six issues. DeFalco was "part of the creative team that introduced the Transformers to the American public. DeFalco wrote the first four issues of the third series of Red Sonja and after shedding his Spider-Man editorial duties he took over as writer of The Amazing Spider-Man. He collaborated with Roger Stern on April–May's #251-252 (the Secret Wars crossover issues), before taking over fully with #253, for a two-year run, chiefly in collaboration with artist Ron Frenz. Concurrent with editing Jim Shooter's Secret Wars, DeFalco introduced Spider-Man's "black costume" in the pages of Amazing. Tom created Spider-Girl, which ran for 100 issues.The Spectacular Spider-Girl, making her Marvel's longest-running female star of a solo series. Tom is also the Consultant Editor for the Marvel Encyclopedia. He is the author of several Dorling Kindersley Ultimate guides to Marvel Superheroes: Avengers: The Ultimate Guide, Fantastic Four: Ultimate Guide, Hulk: The Incredible Guide, and Spider-Man: The Ultimate Guide. In December 2016, Archie launched a new ongoing Reggie & Me series by DeFalco and artist Sandy Jarrell. Tom's appearance at GSCF was put together by Hero Initiative and will be at their booth in AC.   5. Bob Wiacek is coming to Garden State Comic Fest: AC Edition at the Showboat Hotel Atlantic City April 7-8th!! Bob got his start in the mid-1970s as a member of the "Crusty Bunkers" inking collective. He inked backgrounds (over CURT SWAN's pencils) on Superman for DC Comics. He moved on to regular inking work for DC, and then in 1978 began a long association with Marvel. Wiacek has inked over such pencilers as Carmine Infantino on Star Wars, Paul Smith and Dave Cockrum on The Uncanny X-Men, June Brigman on Power Pack, John Byrne on Sensational She-Hulk, Walt Simonson on X-Factor and Orion, John Romita Jr. on Iron Man, and George Pérez on Brave and the Bold, volume 2. He has also worked with creators such as Bob Budiansky, Colleen Doran, Ron Garney, Mike Grell, Michael Netzer (Nasser), Kevin Nowlan, Don Perlin, Bill Sienkiewicz, and Barry Windsor-Smith. Over the years, Wiacek has also inked comics published by Dark Horse and Valiant and is credited with being involved on over 800 books throughout his storied career!

Some of the books she worked as a penciler are: "Fantastic Four", "Silver Surfer", "Star Wars: Empire", "Rose & Thorn", "Witchblade", "Miss Marvel", "Birds of Prey" ,”Catwoman”. Recently she had a 15-issue run on a monthly series of Doctor Who, the "New Adventures of the Ninth Doctor". A 2011 graduate of The Kubert School in Dover, NJ, freelance assignments include work for Dynamite Entertainment, IDW and Dark Horse on titles such as Red Sonja, Doc Savage, Green Hornet, Back to the Future, and Vampirella. He is the owner of Dewey's Comic City in Madison NJ and also works for Dynamite Entertainment as an editor on multiple titles.

Reilly Brown is coming to Garden State Comic Fest: AC Edition!A New Jersey native Reilly is a fan-favorite comic book artist and writer for Marvel and DC Comics, known for bringing a sense of character and personality to the projects that he works on, balancing a combination of light-hearted humor, with fast paced superhero action. These talents have been on full display in the pages of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, INCREDIBLE HERCULES, LOBO, and many other comics, perhaps most notably DEADPOOL, Marvel's infamous, rapid-healing, merc-with-a-mouth! He is also a pioneer in digital storytelling, utilizing new ways of making comics for tablets and smart phones with his creator-owned series POWER PLAY, as well as several stories for Marvel, including DEADPOOL: THE GAUNTLET, SLAPSTICK and several others. Reilly currently draws the comic OUTRAGE, which can be read for free on the Line Webtoon website.

Billy Tucci is coming to Garden State Comic Fest: AC Edition April 7-8th at the Showboat Hotel Atlantic City!!Working from a one-bedroom apartment in 1994, Billy self-published the phenomenally successful comic property Shi . At times outselling Batman and Superman, over 4 million Shi comics have been sold worldwide, along with a vast array of related merchandise. Shi is an industry superstar that has additionally produced many blockbuster cross-over projects with some of the most well know Marvel and independent characters including Daredevil, Witchblade, Vampirella and Wolverine of X-Men fame. Tucci has done work for all the major publishing companies over the years and also produced a six-part miniseries for DC in 2008, Sgt. Rock: The Lost Battalion. Billy is also one of the few comic book creators recognized by Wizard Magazine on both their top ten artists and writers lists.

  12. Jae Lee is coming to Garden State Comic Fest: AC Edition this April 7-8th at the Showboat Hotel Atlantic City!Jae is a Korean-American comic book artist, known for his dark style. In 1990, he became one of the youngest artists ever to work for a major publisher. He is an Eisner Award-winner for his work on Marvel's Marvel's Inhumans. The art from his collaboration with writer Grant Morrison on Fantastic Four: 1234, was featured in an exhibition at The Society of Illustrators in New York City. In 2007, Lee was chosen by Stephen King for a six year collaboration on the The Dark Tower (comics) and novels. Lee's recent projects include Before Watchmen: Ozymandias and Superman/Batman.

Star Wars fans rejoice!!Jan Duursema is coming to Garden State Comic Fest: AC Edition this April 7-8th at the Showboat Hotel Atlantic City!!Jan is most well known for her work on the Star Wars comics franchise and, believe us, that only touches the surface of her extraordinary career to date. She is the creator of the Twi'lek Jedi Aayla Secura and her Kiffar Jedi master Quinlan Vos as well as Denin and Vila from Naldar. Jan’s first published illustration work appeared in Heavy Metal. From there she drew several stories for DC Comics' Sgt. Rock. She co-created Arion Lord of Atlantis with Paul Kupperberg and also drew stories in Warlord and Wonder Woman #300. Her first work for the Star Wars franchise appeared in Star Wars #92, published by Marvel Comics. Other work there includes art for X-Factor, Hulk, Spider-Man and X-Men. At DC, Jan drew the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons series, then worked with John Ostrander on Hawkworld and the series relaunch of that title, Hawkman.

GSCF welcomes Joe Staton to Garden State Comic Fest: AC Edition this April 7-8th at the Showboat Hotel Atlantic City!!!Staton, a legend in the comic world and co-creator of such notable characters as Earth 2’s Huntress and the Green Lantern Corps Salaak, Arisia Rrab, and the toughest GL of all Kilowog to name only a few. Hired initially by to work for Marvel, Staton was recruited by DC Comics to work on the revival of the Justice Society of America in All Star Comics and later Adventure Comics. In these titles he illustrated stories including the origin of the JSA in DC Special #29. and the death of the Earth-Two Batman. Staton also illustrated the solo adventures of two female JSA members created during the JSA revival – drawing Power Girl in Showcase and The Huntress. During that time, Staton additionally drew Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes, Doom Patrol, and the Metal Men. In 1979, Staton began a two-and-a-half-year run on Green Lantern, during which he co-created the Omega Men with writer Marv Wolfman. He returned to DC Comics afterwards for a second run on Green Lantern and with writer Steve Englehart, oversaw the title's name change to Green Lantern Corps. In addition, Staton illustrated Guy Gardner, The Huntress, The New Guardians and Superman & Bugs Bunny. On January 19, 2011, Tribune Media Services announced that Staton and writer Mike Curtis would replace Locher as the creative team of the Tracy comic strip in which he still works on today. Bob began his comics career as one of John Romita's Raiders in 1990 and went on to ink such titles as Captain America, Dr Strange, Hyperkind, Spider-Man, Thor and What If?, to name a few. For DC he worked on titles such as Justice League, Birds Of Prey, Action Comics, Green Lantern, Justice League Unlimited, Batman Confidential and even Scooby Doo were embellished by his brushes. For Marvel and Upper Deck, Bob has done countless cards for the Marvel Premier sets as well as fully painted images for the Upper Deck and Fox's 10th anniversary Firefly: The Verse card set and the Firefly Legendary card game. He is currently hard at work on a comics visualization of the progressive rock band The Dear Hunter's; Act II: The Meaning Of & All Things Regarding Ms Leading, inking and painting Turkish penciler Ozgur Yildirim and Paris Cullins.

Camp has been nominated for two Emmys, a CableACE Award, and an Annie Award for his work on The Ren & Stimpy Showimpy Show. He was a co-founder of and director for Spümcø, the animation studio that created The Ren & Stimpy Show. He played a major role in the studio's creative force.Camp started his animation career as a designer for animated series such as ThunderCats, Silverhawks, TigerSharks, and several other series produced by Rankin/Bass. He then worked as a designer on The Real Ghostbusters for DiC, and later as a storyboard artist on Tiny Toon Adventures for Warner Bros. Television. In the 2000s, Camp worked as a storyboard artist on animated feature films such as Looney Tunes: Back in Action and Ice Age: The Meltdown. Bob Camp began his career at Marvel Comics as an illustrator on many comic titles including G.I. Joe, Crazy Magazine, Bizarre Adventures, Savage Tales, Conan the Barbarian, and the 'Nam. He is currently an instructor of animation at The School of Visual Arts in New York City and has recently completed work for Paramount Animation as Layout Artist on SpongeBob SquarePants 2. Legendary Artist Greg Hildebrandt is coming to Garden State Comic Fest: AC Edition!!Greg and his twin brother, Tim, were born in Detroit, Michigan in 1939, Both boys were avid artists and creative thinkers from a young age, and carried their artistic passion with them throughout their childhoods. For years Greg and Tim worked together and apart, receiving international recognition and numerous awards and honors. In 1975, Greg and Tim illustrated the first of a series of The Lord of the Rings calendars for Ballantine Books. In 1977, Lucasfilm hired the Brothers Hildebrandt to create the movie poster for the first Star Wars film, Star Wars: A New Hope. In 1981, they pursued separate careers. During the ’80s Greg’s art appeared on covers for Omni and Heavy Metal. The Franklin Mint and Lenox issued his work on collector’s plates, figurines, dolls and swords. In l984, Greg illustrated Mary Stewart’s Merlin trilogy, and he has illustrated 15 classics, including: The Wizard of Oz, Aladdin, Robin Hood, Dracula and Phantom of the Opera. When commenting on Greg's work the New York Times said, “Fortunate the child or adult who receives a gift of the classics richly illustrated by Greg Hildebrandt.” After 12 years apart, the Brothers reunited in 1993. They worked on Marvel posters, pre-production art for Stan Lee and Michael Uslan, producer of the Batman films, a King Tut book, the 1994 Marvel Masterpieces card set, X-Men and Spider-Man card sets, Terry & the Pirates (comic strip) and an X-Men 2099 painted bookshelf edition. In 1999, Greg began to paint a life-long dream. He created his 'American Beauties' series of retro pinup art. There are presently 100 amazing paintings in this series. In recent times Greg has done a number of covers for Marvel including Deadpool Vs. Thanos, Secret Wars, Old Man Logan, and Guardians Of The Galaxy, Star Wars, Thor, Daredevil, and just recently X-Men
