This is my earliest Timely to date...

Great book!.. ..I'm also collecting Torch's,great covers,and cheaper than Caps....hope to complete it by 2031.....

The early books were often wider, taller, and with heavier paper or more pages than the later books. good to know,thanks.....

Thanks everyone.. .....I have quick question though,why are some Timely's in regular size CGC holders and others in annual size? This book is in a big CGC case,but my #58 is normal sized.I also have a Cap #50 in a big holder and #51 in a regular holder.The ones in the big holder look like they have more pages too.Was this due to the paper drive during the war?

I just received this from Bill Hughes today.MM #70 CGC 8.5 Nic Cage copy.........my first non-Schomburg Timely,but I liked the cover anyway...

I just received this cool mid grade MM #58 today from CLink.You can never have too many Schomburg war covers.....

The great thing is most of these GA dealers take time payments sometimes up to 3 months or more.Realistically,this is the only way I will be able to buy higher grade Timely's.Lord knows,I don't have 2 or 3 grand lying around .....

You are so right...........most of my Timely's are mid grade and I will never let them go,but it's so cool to have a smokin high grade in your hands.Talk about time machines.........

Thanks,Surfer I looked thru the catalog and saw this book for $1250 and knew it had to be a typo.I checked the web site and it said $1995.So I emailed him,and asked if I could buy it for $1250.He tells me it was a typo but said I could have it for $1550(just above cost to him)Of course I had to get it.needless to say,I will be buying from him again,great guy.........highly recommended.... ....... vinatagecollectables

I just received this beauty from the Bill Hughes Vintage Collectables catalog I received last week.Awesome book,2nd highest in census,absolutely the best looking Timely I have ever owned.Bill's a great guy too. ...I will now be buying Timely's until I die...
