  1. That's one hell of a 6.0...! Beautiful vibrant color and not to mention IH 181 is a notoriously tough book to find with a nice wrap and yours is wrapped nearly perfect. Nice.
  2. I noticed that as well... Someone jumped the gun without taking a good look... Even for the legit version in 9.0 I think -500 is a bit on the high side...?
  3. I'm curious to see how many NM 98 CGC will be grading over the next few months...? We may see a big jump on the census? I'm not sure how this will effect the value of a book that has a steady demand but is already readily available in high grades...? This is purely speculation on my part but I'll be watching the census.
  4. Picked up another Avengers #4 CGC 5.5 (pictured on the bottom).... Both have off white pages... In my opinion the first one's nicer than 5.5... Looks every bit of 6.0 possibly 6.5...?
  5. When I posted here last a couple years ago I had the one CGC 8.5 with white pages. I now own an additional 8.5 with white/off white... My two Hulk 181's...
  6. Nice 'double quote' on the leading edge - not easy to come by (thumbs u TOS #39 is incredibly hard to come by with the full double quote visible. I believe this is the first book we've seen in this thread with the double quote... Nice book. (thumbs
  7. I own the ASM set. I'm in the process putting together the Daredevil anniversary set. Both are great variant sets. I've always been a fan of Martins work
  8. Any particular reason your typing this exact same message in thread after thread over and over again? I counted 18 threads in a row before I quit...
  9. If it were my book I'd have it pressed before grading Best of luck.
  10. I went through the entire thread... Everyone's #1's and #4's look great! Pictured below are my two
  11. Here's my top ten silvers... 1. Amazing Fantasy #15 2. Fantastic Four #1 3. Incredible Hulk #1 4. X-Men #1 5. Avengers #1 6. Journey into Mystery #83 7. Tales of Suspense #39 8. Fantastic Four #5 9. Daredevil #1 10.Tales to Astonish #27 11. Avengers #4 **honorable mention**
  12. Beautiful book Vision75! I agree... I've been looking for a JIM83 for a wile with no success. I've noticed more TOS39's in circulation as well.
  13. Has My application to the exclusive ASM 300 club been denied...
  14. I don't like TTA 27 in the list. I have never felt it was a true first appearance. I think your addition of ST 110 is justified, especially of late. My first thought when I looked at the initial list was... No TTA27?
  15. There's no real answer to this question. Some folks might have FF1 at the top of the list being that it's Marvel's first super hero team book, followed by AF15 "first appearance of Spidey"... Other than that it's personal preference. IMO all of the above books are ground breaking in there own way.
  16. I'm a completeist when it comes to certain series. I have every Wolverine issue from the ongoing series to date variants and all... I also have a weakness for Amazing/Superior Spider-Man. I have every issue and every variant from Superior Spider-Man as well... I enjoy the additional art. There's a simple solution to the variant debate... If you don't want them don't buy them.
