  1. will do....thanks for the suggestion.
  2. This will only be briefly available here before i send it off to Heritage. One of the most sought after 35 cent variants in a grade that hasn’t had a recorded sale in 6 years! And is the 2nd highest grade currently in existence. This opportunity doesn’t come around often. Pick it up now before you have to contend with a much larger audience! Iron First #14 CGC 9.4 35 cent variant ASKING $15,000 13,500 (last price drop before I feed to an auction house!) shipping included in the US payment via PayPal, Venmo. Cashiers check. no returns. not likely to entertain trades but i might consider for the right deal. first here in thread gets it and takes priority over all private message negotiations.
  3. I wasn’t aware until recently actually. I’ve gotten back into the hobby after a few years hiatus. also hate buyers premiums too
  4. Thank you. That’s all I’m saying. none of us would likely buy a book without seeing it, yet they deliberately don’t provide it. And say this as a big fan of CL. I’d like them to be better. Get more bids, get more engagement etc.
  5. To me, none. But others feel differently. There are definitely buyers that seek them out. But the value is not really quantifiable.
  6. I don't know....seems fun to get the book home and find out what the other half looks like after i buy it. It's like a mystery box!! I've been looking at it all wrong....
  7. Same. Just seems like more work for everyone...plus just really dumb from a business standpoint because most bidders wouldn't go to the trouble. They'd just move on.
  8. It's so aggravating that well established places that Comiclink wont provide front and back scans for ALL books. Comicconnect does. Heritage does. Hakes does. Comiclink only does on the VERY high end books. Even books going for 2-3K wont always have the back scans. I emailed one of their VPs and he just stated that it's unreasonable since there are over 1200 books in their current auction. He did offer to send me scans if I email and ask for them specifically. But I'm a browser type of buyer. So that's unrealistic for me lol. Anyone else notice this? Or other auction houses that only give front scans? Even the dirtiest ebay slumlords will give you front and back pics....
  9. I just got off the phone with them about this last week. You can have your books shipped back altogether. But you have to specify that by writing it on the packing slip clearly that you want them all shipped back together regardless of the tier or turn around time. They'll do it for you. You just have to communicate with them.
  10. They were like that when I got it. So it could have been pressed before I got it as well. I don't think the press that I had done to it, made it any worse.
  11. Weird top staple tear. I tried to capture an image to show it.
  12. Thanks in advance. I got a group of books heading to CGC tomorrow. I will post CGC follow ups once i have the slabs back. Enjoy!
  13. and Price reduction! Feel free to knock 20% off all listed prices for the next day or two until I close the thread and send these off to auctions. Thanks for looking!
