For some strange reason, after joining the forums I can't help but buy Woodgods whenever I find one. Got 3-4 of them already. My constant Woodgod harping is shooting up GPA on this book! I immediately thought of this thread when I saw it. Wife asked me what the hell is a Woodgod. I told her, she was not impressed. What is the gpa, $18?

Sometimes the talent of coloristic and inkers are not on the same level. Search for Kirby's pencil art, it makes a difference.

Another reason comic collecting is wonderful; debating the art and literature. Personally, I love Kirby's style and creativity. Like Picasso (cubism/modern art), you may not like their styles but cannot argue against their genius.

Someone might have general interest in the offer but feel like what they could offer would not be taken; thus, receiving a strike...to then consider an additional veto if taking a future item based on historical references-becoming an outcast from the TGT. Our, some might think what they could give would be inadequate; or lack sufficient value in the eyes of those watching?

Received a few books from Ed that were posted in one of his recent sales threads. Ed also gave me a great deal on one from his personal collection. His communication, packaging and grading was spot on; top notch all around. Couldn't be happier.
