  1. Wow! That's amazingly generous and I have emailed my buddy who's going to the show Thank you very much!!!
  2. I'm still in on this book but here's what I was hoping would happen: 1) No variants (nope). 2) Francavilla and Murphy variants only because they were announced first and I like both of them (yep). 3) An NYCC exclusive (yep). 4) No more than 3 variants total (nope). And I don't like the Clooney variant at all. It's just too soft of a cover for this premise. I have (2) CGC dual SS's already paid for and one Murphy variant and 4 base issues pre-ordered from Midtown. Also have it on both of my pull lists and my LCS'.
  3. Hate to ask a n00b question. But I'm gonna What do you mean by comps? Thanks!
  4. I prefer the Murphy and Francavilla personally. Although the Ghost variant is freaky looking!
  5. Here it is (I think). The cover of the NYCC Wytches exclusive: https://imagecomics.com/content/view/image-comics-exclusives-available-at-nycc I like it!
  6. Well I just opened about 100 of these for SS earlier in the year and kept the bags and cards. Probably another 100 I got too bored to open. It's the cards that should sell for a premium (if there's such a thing for 1 million of each 5 being made). For this issue, that'll be the draw once the movie gets closer
  7. Well, that's nice Diamond is not making this easy. I, however, will continue to wait patiently. Is # 4 here yet? How about now? Now?
  8. Yeah, I did see that. Never bothered to open that other link until today. Man, I hope all of us that want the NYCC's can get them. Gee, that would be swell
  9. Jeah!!! Mark Henry I think that's Mark Henry. Is that Mark Henry?
  10. That monster would have to be Eno...ah forget it. I knew it was weak when I was typing it. And yet...I still posted it anyway. That's what I do!!!
  11. BTW: That interaction w/ Gunnz and The Authority was quite humorous!!! Gunnz: Hope you get some (sleep) soon
  12. Tim Daniels on Enormous #4 delays (damn you Diamond!): http://comicsheatingup.net/2014/09/25/a-message-from-tim-daniel-in-reference-to-enormous-4-delay/
  13. I think it'd be a great idea for an animation studio to try to pick up comic book properties and make mature-themed, high quality animated series... Think Aeon Flux, but not mostly terrible. At this point we have a generation of adults that have grown up on some combination of Adult Swim and anime, so I'd think it has a shot to pick up a lot of viewers and eyeballs. Right now animation is almost solely the domain of the comedy series, and that is largely thanks to one television show... The Simpsons. I think it might be time for that dynamic to change a little bit... high quality animation can be quite expensive, but I think it is the only shot we have (at least for a very long time) of seeing some of these series realized in another format. I know we hear about this sort of thing every now and then - Chew, Rat Queens, etc - but I think it makes a lot more sense than trying to turn them all into television shows or movies. Animation is closer to the source than pretty much anything else, and outside of the Scott Pilgrim movie, they still don't do a lot of things in live action that are commonly done with animation. Not a bad idea! Not bad at all
  14. . The Cloonan looks like it should be a cover of Alex and Ida rather than Wytches. Won't be going after that one.
  15. Just looked at their Facebook page photos and sure enough, there's something being made. The female lead looks perfect for the part!!! (aaaand, not too hard on the eyes either )
  16. Fantastic!!! Great action and pacing - really looking forward to reading the whole thing
