Could be. I've still got a couple weeks left before I can participate again but I think people should worry less about what everyone thinks. Just post up stuff you actually would want to receive yourself. I will try and post up some RAK next week when I get home and dig threw some stuff.

That is Awsome!!

Any particular era?
GA would probably be a little unreal so SA. A minty George Perez WW#1 would also be groovy.
A kav original sketch may also suffice....
When my time comes around to take another offer and I see something I can't be without I guarantee you'll see some GA Wonder Woman

Can I offer something up non comic related just to keep the giving going?
If the answer is yes, then this goes out to anybody with a newborn. Our family business deals with distributing baby products to stores across Los Angeles region. We've been in the business for over 37 years. We have these blankets that are always sought in the industry due to their comfort and pedigree and I wanted to offer a package here to anybody with a newborn. First person to Claim, Pm your info and I'll get a package going for you tomorrow.
P.s. Let this claim be separate from the once a month claim so anybody can claim it, thanks.
Thanks for this awesome thread Justin
I was curious why no one claimed this generous offer and then realized most of you don't have women!
Just kidding. If this is still available and no one wants it, I will take it. I just recently found out I will have little CAHokie coming in December.
Congrats!

So this is a upscale version of the PIF thread?
Someone needs to post the pic of the junk donkey wearing a top hat and monocle.
I predict this will end with much butthurt, strikes, and pernts.
How about if you just came to mess on the thread, you just stay out!

My current offer is suspended until further notice
It appears that Harvey has given the greenlight. His thread his rules, so let confusion follow
X-Men 95
6.5 CGC
Please read the original post for the specifics.
As much as I would like that for my collection I'll leave it for someone else. Very cool of you to offer it up.
You get on a plane for a couple hours and the thread goes crazy.
-
It does not have to be based on monetary value but collectible/coolness value. If you take a cgc'd book don't put up xforce #1 and a crappy TPB no one could care to read.
-
I like participating in these threads because it as close to trading as I can get and I have a lot of cool stuff to give out( I think)
-
I'm intrigued by the San Diego Comic Con offer but I'm completely unclear on the retail value of the items. Are we talking about a $50 item or $200?
-
I think this is a rule that needs to be revisited if the thread continues to get stalled for days. I participated in the PIF well over a month ago and it was almost a month before something came up I was interested again.
I may be that a week is long enough to keep the thread moving time will tell how this is going to work. Leave the rule for now and see where it goes. JMHO

Thanks! I always stress that I am not offering enough.
I've only had a chance to do this twice but I feel the same.

I told her 15 mins and we are out of here.
In the news tonight man sent to hospital with firework lodged in his........

I just realized the only sucky part now is I have to wait a month to dive back in!! Feel free to post some drek until I am ready again guys
. Nice refreshing start to this idea Harvey!
I know this is too much fun, its going to be a long month wait.
Maybe I'll go poke at the PIF thread to get it moving.
-
I am going to post this. If there is no movement when I get back from the shop in a few hours I'll switch things up.
Free shipping in CONUS ( will cover up to $20 elsewhere)
Superman/Batman issue 70 pg10

Here's my offering...55 Marvel Star Wars comics. Grades run from VG+ to VF/NM. No reprints. Shipping is on me, of course. Hopefully there are some Star Wars fans out there. I remember a lot of these stories fondly. Marvel invented the Expanded Universe, ya know.
If you can't make out the numbers I'm happy to provide a list. I'd also be fine with answering grade questions on any specific issue. I'll actually be home all day today working, so no big deal.
Peace,
Chip
look like a good bit to complete my run

Cool offer, should find a home with someone.
-
Sound good to me.
-
So person A offers something and person B takes it.. Person A has the veto power to say person B's offer is no good?
-
A thought that also crossed my mind was allowing a poster to have "Veto power" themselves.
I get the sense that a lot of people might be lurking because they don't want to feel generous and offer up a great offer only to have a donkey claim it and offer up a Ninjak #1. Why would they bother. Maybe giving the person offering up something the right to say "no" could change things.
First interesting idea I've heard.
-
How about we just give it a week and see where the thread goes. Then revisit it if it all goes horribly wrong.
-
So with all the banter..... who's up on deck to make their offer?
