  1. What an incredible find ! Only .5 unrestored on the CGC census Very cool.
  2. I have my doubts. if he owned it and announced it to the press that is not enough for me to believe it actually sold. I’d want to hear from trusted boardies that they know the new owner.
  3. Now I’m wondering if it really sold.....just me being a conspiracy theorist unless anyone knows the new owner
  4. I don’t know but I wish one of you cheap asses would throw that in as a tracking bid. You’ll be fine. Chickens 🐓
  5. Well. Some assumptions of why it was pulled were Wrong. ( me included ) The 7.0 might have expedited this sale. At this rate my estimate of 1,050,000 is almost exactly on the money. At 995k it’s right where it shud b. I hope it goes for a ton more but that 6.9 is a nicer copy imo. Never the less it’s a Tec 27 and very few chances to get one exist.
  6. Anyone else get upset when you check in and it hadn’t moved in a while ?
  7. I think all these people have solid personal / business relationships built over many years. So I’d gather yes but I have no specific information one way or the other.
  8. Thst I don’t know. I’ve had some good stuff and they were willing to negotiate. Kelly is great to work with there
  9. From personal experience. Heritage is flexible. Hakes is flexible. Comic connect was not.

  11. These 2 books really are head & shoulders over all else in top 6. Would love to see it exceed top graded / pedigreed CGC Marvel Comics 1
  12. I don’t either. Thought it might be something on the up and up for collectibles in general. I’m out
  13. So no one lives in Illinois or California or anywhere Heritage has an office. Small pool for comics at this amount
  14. My guess. Is that Tec 27 is a hair rarer than Action 1. Action has the “ advantage “ of a # 1 issue and Superman was more commercialized early on plus the Tv show prior to the comics code and there wasn’t “ concern “ That bats had in the 50’s. It appears there may have been a lesser produced number of copies as well. 202 for action 1. And I guess around 173 k for Tec 27
