pains me to see single pages of this book

Here are a few of my slabbed ASMs. Not sure why it the pic got posted sideways. I have almost a complete run. I also resubmitted this one. Thought It has a chance at 9.6. Got the same grade back but lost my white pages

I think many would disagree including myself. One day I will own one for now I can dream....

truth be told I have a chance to by a AF 15 4.0 in 2011 and did not. I think it was 4,000-4,500. My biggest regret. Thinking I need to get into one this year. will bee looking around for an opportunity. The ASM #1 was my first slab purchase. was only collecting ASM and when I nearly completed the collection turn to key first appearances.

looks like extensive marvel chipping to me. I think I saw this last night on eBay while also looking for a AF#15

I just noticed that on the Jan 15 auction an ASM #1 CGC 5.0 office white -white pages sold for 7,468.75$. I bought the same book in late 2012 with white papers for almost half that. That a significant increase in this grade over 4 years. Is ASM #1 what I would call poor mans gold? Since AF #15 has risen significantly and has gotten out of reach for some they are turning to the next best thing. Kind of a gold and silver analogy. Just really surprised.

every-time I have tried to press and resubmit I have gotten same grade lower page quality, same grade and page quality or lower grade. My most recent was a ASM #129 9.4 white pages. Got back 9.4 off white to white. I down playing the resubmit game. Pressing the AF #15 above is Russian roulette.

Trust me You need no help from me. You seem to be doing a great job yourself. Always classy to blame the whistle blower. If you feel I deserve to be on the HOS then I welcome my follow community members to decided if what I have done here is worthy of it or not. The bumping of the thread was done to raise awareness for all that participate in the MB thread so they can know what going on. I'm not to sure you have really grasped what this is all about.

On this point Claudio I see it differently. I do not think the PL was created with any assumptions of good or bad faith intentions but only to serve as a mechanism to complete incomplete transactions. The transaction could be off the rails because someone is indeed dishonest, or it could be a simple oversight which is corrected when made public. I understand that it is the "going public" portion of it that can seem disproportionate in the case of otherwise good faith mistakes or errors, and if things get fixed via PM all the better for everyone, but if the PM route is not getting the job done, than publicity has always been the next best medicine for getting things moving. Wow i agree. i don't understand your defense. we've got multiple boardies saying they've received nothing or are less than thrilled with their purchase. i'm waiting for Jason's side of the story but this doesn't smell good. I have some paid boxes to ship. I have all the freebies left to ship. Would it matter if I submitted to you all and said here's the laundry list of BS I've been dealing with this year? Personally I'm so tired of it that I don't even want to go into it because it all sounds like BS excuses. Which only serves to anger me at myself. So what if I changed jobs recent? Or that my wife was in a car wreck and that I'm still dealing with that fallout? Or that I had my computer crash on me? Lost a lot of information while it was down which really slowed me down on the thread? Or that I work 11-12 hours a day usually skipping lunch and that my cell phone apparently is an outdated POS when it comes to reading the boards? Or that some drunk chick backed into my car on June 27th and then I had to deal with getting my car repaired AGAIN? Or that the very same car just got a cracked windshield yesterday and so I got to deal with my wife crying uncontrollably all because we just keep getting more and more BS piled on? If you read through it, you can do a simple Algebra equation. X=BS Life Drama = excuses. So that's how I feel about it, I don't want anyone thinking I'm living it up in Costa Rica while you're waiting for your items to arrive. I mean really that's probably going to be about the biggest obstruction to my shipping right now. Or how about now that I'm spending 90 minutes defending myself on these boards instead of getting these boxes to the night drop because someone wants to PL nominate me over A. a refund and B. a free item. I'm not belittling this place or the rules and I adhere to whatever, but put the pitchforks away. I'm not a bad guy I'm just having a hard time right now in general and I don't get off on bragging or boasting about myself or asking people to throw me a pity party. BTW I still love you all. Sorry, life does get in the way and sometimes it seems bad things come in gangs. But it is absolutely your fault for failing to ship these boxes in a timely manner. The buyers didn't pick your 11 hr per day job without breaks or pick out your cell phone or cause any of the problems you're experiencing. And let's be fair here. If you had to have those boxes our last Friday no matter what you'd stay up all night and get it done. You bit off a lot, had some issues with life and let people down. Finally, I find it a comical gem that you suggest that the boxes are delayed because you're busy defending yourself here for 90 minutes. That's just plain nasty. +1 people work hard for there money and expect prompt shipping and not with I'll get to it when I get to it attitude. If you were having all these problems there should of been better communication or the offer of a refund to everyone. I'm guessing you spent more time football on the field than in class learning communication skills. Having to work with multiple buyers to straighten things out whether about items not shipped or about contents received is testimate that what you have done is not acceptable. The only reason I believe more people have not come forward is they are scared how that will affect there MB content when hopefull received. You can paint me with any brush you want but I'm standing up for all those that I have heard complain and won't post. I will let follow community agree or disagree with me.

From talking to fellow bord members not all have received there MB or Myster envelops or there free MB. I feel a lot people who participated are not being vocal because they are afraid if they do get anything it will be sub par. I never personally bought a MB before but decided to take a chance because of all the positive remarks. I understand that not everyone can be winners but people should get at least value in the amount of the box they paid and get everything promised to them. I'm sorry but I had to stand up because I felt people were to afraid to do so and hoped this would make people come forward. I'm happy I did and I agree MB need to be banned.

+1 Just seems like a mess. To many issues with to many participants. This maybe one of the reasons, I think, that the mods pull his threads. I bought one a while ago just for kicks and the contents were barely worth $150. I agree with you both I am square. I am not looking for anything even if a free MB was promises, but I know that there are a lot of people out there that got taken and are not speaking up. I will not commit anymore. I have advised everyone involved of this sale. Hopefully they will stand up.

I am nominating him for all the a happened. I know it is very confusing. But what it comes down multiple unbroken promises. Unhappy people. This promise was made to all members of the "special thread" No one put a gun to Jason's head to offer the free boxes. If offered them on his own accord. He should own up to this for all members this was promised to.

Hi fellow board members. I am not a person to stir things but I have found the actions of one of our board members inexcusable. This person is Comicalgems. As part of Comicalgems MB celebration many promises were made and many went unfulfilled. Example of a group thread created MB where not shipped to multiple members. When questions were being asked the following response was received. When boardies continued to question were the MB were the following response Some of the packages for members arrived but everyone was promised a min value of the MB they paid for. One comment from a boardie for his package I personally never received a box. After waiting very patiently. When confronting the seller I received this response. I took the refund and advised that I could no longer do business with him. The response that came back Although I did not care. A promise was made to send the MB out. To this date I have no received anything. The shipping lable was created July 8. It’s still in that state. For all the inconvenience the seller advised everyone would get a free mystery box. This has not happened for any board member to my knowledge from the noise I here. example Sooooo......free boxes? and The seller needs to own up.
