  1. I don't blame him for feeling down after such a theft. If 3 of my prized gems were stolen I might lose the collecting spark too or it would not be the same after the violation. Thanks for debunking Procrusty's story. I thought it was fishy from the outset. I'd love to hear his reply, but I think he left for good; or at least we hope he did. Cheers, Bachelor of Comics
  2. Ebay is the # 1 place for collectors to buy/sell comics bar none. Collectors will not abondon it en masse. It's here to stay despite its shortcomings. If someone can suggest a better place for all of us collectors to go...please, I'm all ears... Cheers, Bachelor of Comics
  3. Congrats on the big sale greggy! I suppose it merely reinforces my sig below.... Cheers, Bachelor of Comics
  4. I saw "Metropolis" browsing this thread last week. My take: I don't put much trust into the source & I would like to hear the other side of the story. Cheers, Bachelor of Comics
  5. Procrustean, I think you should clarify the numbers with your SOURCE because they make absolutely NO SENSE. If Mr.Cage bought about 70% of his collection from Metropolis Collectibles & "close to 75% of the books he bought from METROPOLIS were RESTORED", that would mean that ABOUT 52.5% of his WHOLE COLLECTION is RESTORED! Judging by the Heritage offerings, this CANNOT possibly be true. Don't take offence, I'm not shooting the MESSENGER. Just THE MESSAGE. CHEERS, Bachelor of Comics
  6. "Have you ever met Comicwiz?" . Don't get him started... Cheers, Bachelor of Comics
