  1. I'll let you know when I get my taxes done
  2. They were and I had the shelf moved far away from the renovations, told them multiple times not to get close to it, and it had a protective covering over the entire thing.
  3. Updates Video game losses $301.72 USD Thrift shop purchase losses $400 USD The inventory will be calculated later but it will be nowhere near enough to recover my costs. Everything has nearly been thrown out due to renovations and I can't in good conscience sell something with drywall dust on it even if I had been able to clean it I still wouldn't sell it. That's all I wish to say about this.
  4. I'm done trying to impress the boardies as that's what I've been doing up until recently. This is my journal and my journey. I've already explained what I wanted to do so if you forgot just go back a few pages and read it.
  5. If I didn't have money I wouldn't have purchased anything. I will continue to make purchases regardless. You gave me an interesting idea for a game so I'll explain how it will work. I will list the total of my debt here and if by the end of the year the amount of my investment doesn't exceed the total amount of my debt I will admit to everyone here they were right.
  6. Recent Purchases Poptropica hidden Islands 1 month of GPA Analysis Paid $10.95 USD Detective comics lot 871-881 Paid:??? Sold:???
  7. Well, it's over the course of two months but now that I know that I have to add the time of everything else spent into my calculations I'll be doing better now. Since this is a tourist location everything is pretty much fast-paced here save the office jobs or stuff that needs to be done carefully. I still remember that job where I worked at Kelsey's as a dishwasher and it was fine for the most part except for when the head chef called everyone and discussed what would be happening, she was saying things a mile a minute and so many things at once I couldn't even keep up much less remember or do all she asked. There were a few times that I didn't report my income not because I was trying to hide it but because I didn't know if it was significant or not to them. So as soon as I realized it I told them, we went over the income statement, corrected it and everything was good. Though it taught me that I should leave things to chance and always ask them if I'm not sure.
  8. Well, then you're 100% wrong with that assumption. I have to report that income that I earn because if I didn't not only would I get in trouble for committing fraud and false information which would either have me hit with a heavy fine or jail time. I would also lose the social assistance and not be able to apply for it again.
  9. No making money isn't going to disqualify me from getting social assistance. I don't make that much anymore and can make 200 per month before they start taking away from my social assistance. Yes I report what I earn
  10. 1. I'll be asking the reseller groups and my local LCS's when their slow months are to get an idea generally of what I should expect. 2. I didn't consider adding the time spent that didn't result in a purchase but only about 4 hours have been added to that. Since I'm using my money only I don't spend very long anymore going through things. 3. I do understand that. There are a few places that I always check up and go to. I do have a death pile of stuff that I still need to sell. would stop once I would get one. 4. Well as I said earlier because I'm using my own funds it limits how much I can buy and sell and yes it was the period of 2 months. I don't have a car myself but if I paid my dad he would take me where I need to be. The problem is that for lower end stuff this becomes a problem because it's already thin profits as it is and paying for gas on top of the basically means it's not worth my time which is why I'm searching for items with higher profit margins. So I'll give you an example. When the video games market was hotter and more active if there was something on Kijii or Craiglist that I saw that I could even double or triple my money, or sell that same day I went for it. Even with the cost of paying for the ride there made it worth it. Now with the price of everything has gone up and the video game market having been slowed down and in a correction, I can't do that anymore unless it's something really profitable or that I can sell the same day.
  11. Thanks and don't worry none of the money on my credit card was used to buy comics but living expenses when my sales slowed down to almost nothing. I have been burned quite a few times buying more than I can handle and I have learned my lesson much to the disbelief of many boardies on here. The advice of using the money I've made from the sales of the comics and video games is what I'm doing while working down the previous comic book debt I have. I would say that markets of all sorts are going through a correction period and with the government shutdown many people are tightening their belts and buying what they really need. Since most of my business and sales are from the US.
  12. Thank you for the offer but I don't have anything one would consider good. My only CGC slab is FF 53 CGC 3.5
  13. It's better that way. However, if you are interested all you need to do is pm or you're not really that curious to know what the cliffhanger is as you say you are
  14. If you're really that intrigued pm me and I will tell you
  15. There are two problems with that. It's a hulk 180 and I already sold it long ago. It's just that I can edit that first post anymore.
  16. The thing you're talking about is in the past. I've sold my hulk 180 a long time ago and it was one of the first things I've sold. But I do know when they separated eBay into the Canadian and US one I've been getting fewer views and sales. I've been looking into and trying different selling platforms, adding OBO's to things I wanted to sell quicker, made shipping a bit cheaper. I'm not the only one having problems with sales though. Though like I said that's in the past as most of all the big ticket items have been sold and that I'm on social assistance.
  17. Well, everything was going fine till people weren't buying at all. I've already said that I'll be working on all these problems this year well most.
  18. There were three months while I was working for myself that no one was buying things or if they did it wasn't close to enough to pay my rent and other expenses so I used the card
  19. Ok then let me answer again in a different way. No comic purchases No gaming expenses No money spent on my GF No cryptocurrency purchases Nothing was added or purchased with my credit card
  20. Well, I don't see how it should even be asked when I stated all fees have been paid before writing down the profits. None of these purchases are on the credit card.
  21. Well, it's usually from Kijiji and thrift shops and where I sell them I use letgo, ebay, kijiji, and recently I've started testing out the FB marketplace.
