  1. Shows great promise; I'm really intrigued.
  2. Just my personal opinion, but the SDCC has the better cover.
  3. Nice books, deadleg!!! Love the pink HQ! I think the "Dell Otto Pink" is THE HQ variant at this point. I like it better than the Hughes variant, personally. I see it staying around the $1K mark in 9.8.
  4. Love the art for this series as it is detailed, but accessible.
  5. 4 books MFT: 8/10 Received 8/17 Verified 8/29 Scheduled for Grading 9/8 Graded 9/12 Quality Control 9/13 Shipped
  6. My copies went straight into bags/boards; they had dog ear corners. Heard there were six thousand given away in line today. TOTAL HEARSAY, 9.8s may go for a premium. We'll see...
  7. That was me! AWESOMESAUCE, Shawn. Nice to meet you and THANK YOU! Above and beyond, above and beyond, above and beyond... It was 7AM and Skybound was unpacking when I cornered Shawn and started talking comics, mostly Birthright. What a wild event, it was a Walking Dead street fair. It was surreal to see the lines go from the hundreds in the morning to thousands by 10AM. Took me 2 hours to get the Walking Dead 1, Cynthiana, Kentucky edition. The line went blocks and blocks (miles?) and was rumored to be in the thousands. I have a bunch of pics up here: https://www.instagram.com/dan_piercy/ Thank you, again, Shawn!!!
  8. I liked it. Not much of a story, but the characters are really fun. Thank you, Margot Robbie, bring on the Harley Quinn movie.
  9. From what I read on Facebook, they aren't allowing any cars, other than vendors, into the town and, yes, it looks small. The ONLY way to get there is the designated parking areas and then taking the shuttles.
  10. I like the series w/some points of contention: - Winona Ryder just screamed and cried the entire series - Music annoyed me as I have heard these song choices in dozens of other things (particularly I'll Stop the World and Melt With You and New Order's Elegia) The kids were great.
  11. Kind of crazy how badly Diamond ships books; they basically overstuff boxes with nothing else to protect from shipping damage.
  12. Ha! I have enjoyed what I've heard, props to you guys.
  13. Wasn't terribly impressed w/the Wonder Woman offering this week, not bad, just ok. Seems to just mostly be set up for parrallel/alternate universe memories WW is having.
  14. Watched it again last night (I was slightly inebriated and fell asleep half way thru on Sunday) and thought it was excellent. My wife had a smile on her face and started reading my Preacher TPB after the episode, she really liked it. I think the show could be very popular. Arseface, turn away from the subtitles when he's talking, his speech is pretty damn near unintelligible.
  15. I can't tell what I think of it yet. My 1st impressions are it is interesting and I really like Tulip and Cassidy.
  16. The size combined w/the -script in the dialog boxes was awfully hard to read. This annoyed me.
  17. The show was immediately popular from the start and crazy price sales soon followed. I remember WD1 getting $500 sales, then $1K soon after and then $2k. Isn't the median like $1500 now for a 9.8? I remember that WD1 CGC .5 selling for $500 a few years ago. I sold a WD19 CGC 9.8 during season 3 on Amazon for $900.
  18. 154: the issue was good! Book has been on a roll lately; excluding issue 150.
  19. Ugliest slab label ever. Yuck.
