Before assigning a grade, is this pic showing rusted staples and possible rust migration?

The staple is not coming thru. What you see are black rub marks. Took another picture. Staples look pristine to me.

Don’t think it’s water. The texture feels the same as surrounding area. Smooth.

looks like it was made that way.

The 2 centre sheets are unattached. Has only one staple at middle of spine, but it seems like it was printed that way. Don’t know if this is normal for some Classics. Cover is also unattached.
