Wow.....I can get half of those out of the $2.00 box at my local auction house (they have a small retail area too).  Not sure how they came up with that mix...lol.  A couple good books, a few decent books but the rest appear to be nothing special by any stretch of the imagination.  $5,000??  What were they thinking.

LOL.....She was actually my least favorite character.  Rumor back then was she got canned because she appeared in an issue of playboy years before.  That turned out not to be the reason.  If I recall she left on her own.  But I do have that issue of Playboy (March 1979).  She is Bing Crosby's granddaughter, that's the only reason she got the Playboy gig.

I only watched 4 of the series listed (original, next gen, DS9 & Voyager).   Personally I would rank next gen #2 behind the original.  Not sure how DS9 ranked higher, unless it's due to the social and political messages.  I thought the stories and and characters in next gen were far superior.

Mine took 21 days.  Received 2-16/entered 3-9.  Still waiting to be scheduled for grading (3 economy & 3 value-not fast track)

I sent my 6 books (3 standard/3 value) in the middle of February.  They were not checked in until March 9th.  And that's the current status.  Just "Received: March 9th."  But according to the latest time frames I still have another 30 days or so before all are graded.   I was hoping to take advantage of the spending spree many stimulus receivers were on.  Too late now but no big deal.

These books are not certified.  I guess "raw" is the term that is used.  They are in beautiful condition.  #1 is the worst of the bunch.  I would give it an 8.5, possibly 9.0.  But 2,3 & 4 should certify at 9.4 or higher.

Thank you for your input everyone.  I almost sent them in with my first certification order (just 6 comics) but I was hesitant about whether or not they would pedigree them.  I'll send them in with the invoice from Heritage showing White Mountain pedigree.    Sadly looks like I'm going to have to wait 2-3 months before my first 6 books are certified.

Question please.  I am new to CGC and couldn't find anywhere regarding pedigree magazines.

About 5 years ago I purchased "Creepy" issues 1-4 from Heritage Auctions.  They had them listed as White Mountain pedigrees but didn't include any type of tangible authentication.  I trust that they are what they say they are since I have had good experiences with Heritage.  I still have the original invoice that states they are White Mountain pedigree but that's it.  Am I able to submit these to CGC for pedigree certification with that invoice as proof?

I made my first submissions to CGC last month.  They were received on 02-16-2021.  On 02-23-2021 I sent an inquiry as to when they would be checked in so I could see them on my account while awaiting grading.  The response I received was they were still checking in books from 02-01-2021.  It's now been over 2 weeks since they were received and they still have not been checked in. 

How long does it typically take to have books checked in?
