    ASM 25 Upgrade Surprise

    Women of Marvel - First Appearances
    ASM 25 is the first cameo appearance of Mary Jane Watson. I've had a copy of this in my collection for a while (4.0) and I wasn't planning to upgrade, but I had another raw copy that I submitted with a few other books. I was pleasantly surprised to have it come back 7.0. I didn't think it would grade that high when I submitted it, but I'm happy to have a new version in my collection!

    Women of Marvel - First Appearances
    My collection of Women of Marvel - First Appearances began with Ms. Marvel 1. I didn't start out intending to collect this set. I ran across Ms. Marvel while searching eBay and bought a set of 23 issues from the 1977 edition on an impulse. I bought a few more sets and individual copies and before long I amassed about 500 raw copies of the 1977 Ms. Marvel series. As I started to get into graded comics I sent in my best copies of issue 1 for grading and was amazed that one of them came back at 9.8! I sent 22 issues from that series (of 23) to have them signed. Seventeen of these retained their 9.8 grade, four came back 9.6, and one 9.4. Fortunately my issue 1 retained it's 9.8 grade. The rest I hunted down to get a complete set of 23 in 9.8. I also managed to get Marvel Super-Heroes 10 & 11 in 9.8 as well to complete my Ms. Marvel set.
    This book started my collection of Marvel Women First Appearances. I found the set on CGC and slowly started to collect the issues listed.
