  1. Yes, that one is the most desirable of the bunch & should do very, very well.
  2. I have 2 copies of the USPS Action Comics #1 reprints from 1998, still sealed. I wish the USPS ad wasn't blocking the front though. I need to send those in to CGC.
  3. Has anyone seen, or does anyone have, a Dell War Comics #1 "File Copy" (1940)? I am on the hunt...
  4. Yes, the vast majority of my collection is S.A.. I got many of the Keys way before I ever dipped my toes into G.A., but once there I neglected to get some I was missing (A.F. 15 and F.F. #1). But when I was thinking of letting go, I realized it was the hunt & love of comics history and the art of G.A. books that attracted me. But I didn't have the connection to G.A. that I do with S.A. comics I grew up reading. So G.A. goes first (at a good time to let go too) and I'll let go of the S.A. books in a while a few here and there, keeping myself busy as a part-time activity. I've been accumulating a number of coverless to low grade S.A. comics I will be assembling and doing some book-binding to leave me with the feel of the originals, with all the adds, soapboxes and checklists on newsprint. Some are originals, but many reprints, but when I'm done there, phase 3 will begin. That will be the true test; I hope I'm up for it then.
  5. Aw, I wouldn't change it...My time is running short with the majority of books in by the November auction. I may go back through my collection and see if there's anything else G.A. I'm willing to let go, might have a few, but nothing like this. Just giving them a proper send off...
  6. This one is one of the bigger books in the NOVEMBER FEATURED AUCTION, but thought some of you would like to see it early. Amazing-Man Comics #22 with the classic Green Gorilla's with Nazi Swastika headbands (and a damsel in a very unflattering & compromising pose... ) Got this one a long time ago from a PAL of mine.
  7. This one presents way, way better than the grade, formerly a CGC 3.0 with Cream to Off-white pages, pressed & resub comes back 3.5 but with slightly brittle pages. Probably a small area at the bottom of the left lower spine. Classic L.B. Cole cover. If you want it just for it's cover, this is the one you want.
  8. A few scans have been placed, so here's the new one: This cover bothers me because they introduce Catman's side-kick KItten and even announce it on the cover, but they cover her with that stupid vertical Catman Comics banner on the left side of the cover, leaving just her left leg showing (just off to the right of Catman's right hand.) Catman Comics is already on the top of the cover, so this must be Catman Catman Comics #5 with the first cover appearance of Kitten's left leg.
  9. I looked this one up and there are only 5 on the CGC Census: 8.5, 6.0, 5.5, 1.0 and a .5 all universal. GPA shows the .5 sold was incomplete.
  10. Yes sir, when a CGC 1.0 can be one of the top 4 graded, it probably is scarce to rare.
  11. Plan your exit while your young. This is phase one for me, most of my S.A. collection goes in phase two. Phase three will be letting go of the few I keep until then.
  12. I'm parting with the whole collection, these are in the October auction, the rest in the November auction.
  13. I was a little slow on this, but I did catch it. So Rivercity collection or Pedigree. Time to re-sub.
  14. Well, that really is it for now. By my count there are 28 comics still needing the scans posted. Once that is done I'll swing back around to share them too.
  15. No problem, yes all of these are in the next auction starting October 13th.
  16. Well, this IS the G.A. forum and these books are in the Comiclink October Focused Auction starting in 10 days so...
