1950's war comics

holy cow! a great submission 4.0

i joined here with a passion for 1950's war comics when they were considered drek ,.. they are coming into their own and with all the outstanding covers the genre is becoming huge from day one i urged people to stop buying moderns with a $3,99 cover price when they could have gotten a nice 1950 war comic for the same price , those that followed this wisdom have reaped immensely greater financial reward , financial reward enough that they could sell one of their 1950 war comic runs and go back and buy all those previous moderns today from the dollar long boxes

unfortunately there are many with devious ways that do not fear him

i am fully 100% sure that many people think the exact same thing about many of your posts , but they keep it to themselves out of courtesy... some people could stand to learn a thing or two about courtesy

no ,,, lets keep him here, he is needed now more than ever

it is very frustrating that with all the great members these boards have in their community especially outstanding god fearing members in the GA section that make great comic book related posts and have never caused trouble it is sad that with all these great members that we have here , that we have to settle for two guys who actively caused trouble over the years and and spend the the higher percentage of their time in the WATER COOLER making non comic related posts, creating toxic/divisive threads , and going above and beyond in criticizing members they don't agree with , this is not something a mod should EVER do

two of the outed mods are not fair and impartial , they themselves contributed heavily to the problems the old boards had to deal with and now not only are they still engaging in the same destructive type behavior as before,... now they are not only handing out points, they are actually actively baiting members into the type of reply that they can give a point and warning to , all the time hiding with anonymity... well there is nothing that can be done now ,..at least they have been exposed for who the were and are,,

this is probably the most important and revealing thread these boards have ever known, and yet you have dominated this thread and have been trying to derail this thread all night, i'm thinking you are all for the status qou of moderation that looks out for it's own self interest whether it is quelling competing sales threads or promoting their own political agenda mask in a weather thread , it appears that you are the one with an agenda also for wanting to derail this thread and starting a poll to help get this thread poofed. anyone with eyes to read can see your motive... easily

i have never once looked at that thread so whats your point ? if you started a thread and never contribute to it then maybe you need to find another place to call home,

i wonder if the mod who shilled his own ebay auction is the same mod who will instantly remove a sales thread and hand out a strike/points for the most minor accidental sales thread infraction it is becoming easier to put the pieces together as to why this happens ,

that is really sad,,, but it does not surprise me at all... that person should recuse themselves from moderating these boards moderation here has become the fox guarding a hen house

why are you trying to derail the most eye opening and revealing thread these boards have ever known ? a thread that reveals the motives behind the underhanded and biased moderation that has been going on now for quite some time

and he is extremely protective of the warming thread , he considers it to be his own thread and recently bragged when HIS thread reached 100k views.. it is 100% politically motivated and now we know why it is allowed to stand ,and also we now all know why all who post different data points are given warnings and strikes

yep , extremely nasty , almost never makes comic related posts either , yet he is a mod on a comic book chat board go figure he just mostly hangs out in the water cooler lots of times in the baseball thread and dismissively posts on any post he does not agree with not remotely mod worthy ...not even slightly above the fray as a mod should strive to be

then do it in an extremely nice unbiased way , as sort of a counter debate experiment, be extremely modest but state the other side , you will be excoriated and be given a warning if not a strike , there are two sides to every debate except in that thread and now we know why , it was started by a mod and that mod considers it "HIS OWN" thread

what do you think of a mod that purposely baits a member into a reply and then hands out a warning or strike to that reply ?

then dare venture into the global warming thread and make your case that global warming is a natural occurrence and is overblown... you will be torn apart by a mod and will likely end up getting a warning if you persist in your own beliefs

i agree .. do you think any mod who has not been impartial and has consistently shown bias should resign ?

that one is ok ,.. but there is way more than that , he has been impartial and gives warnings to anyone who he disagrees with

yep , except for it was common knowledge who the 4th one was , it was obvious she was a mod early on ...

i tried to put of our outed mods on ignore after he personally baited me and then gave me a strike when i replied to him in a simple manner ... i was unable to put this guy on ignore and still can't , he still tries to bait me into responding to him which is completely unbecoming of anyone who takes on the responsibility of a mod which should be neutral.. he is not neutral and he cannot be put on ignore

yep , explains an awful lot why a certain member is allowed to be vindictive of anyone who disagrees with him and why a certain thread is allowed to exist which slaps all those in the face who don't buy into it

a year or so ago when i was on my work computer, i was not logged in but went to take a quick look at the boards, and when i clicked on to my chat board profile it was completely different , it told me exactly how many likes i had given and was broken down to exactly what type of likes i had given (smile, thanks, confused etc..) it also told me exactly how many i had received in the same way , it also had a bunch of different stuff i had never seen before,.. but before i could take it all in i had to click away for an email and when i returned it was all gone and back to normal''' i realized that a mod was looking at my profile and this was soon after i had an slight, innocuous interaction with one of our now "outed " mods in which i was given a warning literally for nothing.. i put that guy on ignore after that but now i understand why i was given that warning and now i understand why my home page was being profiled,... it was all linked to either the 100% politically motivated global warming thread or to the guy whom nobody can put on ignore even though countless members wish they could
