  1. That’s all for now. I am still trying to decide if I want to put up any raw books in this thread.
  2. Sold! Planet Comics #38 CGC 4.0 Asking $249 Last GPA sale is more than a year ago.
  3. sold! Planet Comics #66 CGC 2.5 Asking $289 Don’t know what the graders were smoking on the page quality. I handled the book myself and it not like pieces were falling off. GPA is not much help, closes recent sale was a 4.0 that sold for $650.
  4. Some delicious Planet Comics coming up. Thanks for looking. Rules: No buyers from the probation list, HOS or my personal bad list. Must be able to provide references if I don’t know you. I reserve the right to refuse to do business with anyone. First in the thread wins and trumps any ongoing PM negotiations. No returns on slabs, on raw books, returns within 5 days of delivery, buyer pays return shipping. Shipping to the US is $15 for any number of slabs, $7 for any number of raw books. For international shipping, PM me first! I usually only make it to the post office on Saturdays, so please be patient on shipping. Payment via PayPal only, due within 3 days of invoice.
  5. Yep, just read 2 of my kids the Lost World story from Planet 24 tonight. I have about half of the PS Artbooks Planet reprints now.
  6. Also, this one came back from CGC today. A little lower grade than I hoped for, but now all 22 of my rivet issues are in slabs. Very happy about that.
  7. I was surprised by the final hammer price on the 15! I think it’s a very nice looking copy. And yes, I’m thrilled to be in the club. You should be feeling great about your copy too
  8. Nice! Can’t wait to see how those 10 books come back. Also, excited to see what your 15 looks like once it’s been restored. I’m glad you made that decision.
  9. Just got some books back from being reholdered! I know it makes me a bit crazy, but I really can’t handle the murky plastic of the old holders compared to the much clearer plastic of the new ones. Yes, I chickened out on pressing and resubbing the 7. I am in love with it just the way it is.
  10. Good show sir! Great colors on that Berk beauty. What a nice addition to your fine Planet collection. I hope you land that 15 soon.
  11. I will say that my initial reaction was also one of surprise, but to comicjack’s point, nothing should surprise me anymore. There have been lots a strong sales for Planets lately. I believe this must have been a couple of high-grade collectors going at it, since 67 is not an especially valuable or sought after issue from the run. As GG said, you could get a lot of other nice Planets for that much money. But those late issue Whitman books are also tough in grade.
  12. Mastodon is one of my all time favorites. I have only been lucky enough to see them once before, about 2 years ago. Same tour I will be seeing, with Coheed. That’s just the way of the world!... Rick, any Planets coming when LeAnn stops singing?
