  1. It will be interesting to see where the other 5.0 finishes at Heritage
  2. Pretty sure spoilers are up after 80 years, so all good here
  3. I agree with this. I consider both covers to be classics, but I think the science fiction theme of #2 has helped push it ahead of #3. (Sure do wish I had a copy of #3 though) BTW Lou Fine was a GOD! May all of his covers be forever coveted.
  4. Didn’t know it was swiped from Paul, but of course it was! He loved those big elephant ears!
  5. On more recent slabs, CGC no longer lists Fine as the artist for Science 3.
  6. Yeah who knows. I’ve seen Lou Fine on the CGC label, George Tuska, and also no cover artist listed.
  7. It’s a very cool cover, but Weird Comics #1 would be my choice.
  8. Quoting an old Berk post and sharing a Berk book...I love it! Weird 1 is great.
  9. Inkin’ don’t mean nothin’. Unless he did the pencils, who cares?
  10. OK so what do you all think of this? The Larson copy of Science 2 sold in a purple holder in November for $21,600. Some color touch was removed, it dropped a grade but got a universal holder and sold for $42,500!
  11. Those are my two favorite Joe Simon covers as well. You have impeccable taste!
