Lets get back on the horror comic track. Here are some nice horror (sort of) painted Wrightson covers. Issue 3 is my fave. I guess this first one isn't horror related but I will post the whole mini in the interests of completeness.

I am actively pursuing runs of the following bronze horror titles: Ghosts (VF or better), HOM, HOS, Weird War, Weird Western, Phantom Stranger and Unexpected. I am fairly close to finishing HOM, but have awhile to go on the rest. As far as scarcity in HG, I know almost nothing since I collect F/VF - VF+ almost exclusively. I will say that I have had trouble locating a few particular issues including HOS 96, Sinister House of Secret Love 3, HOM 179 and Weird War 6. Not sure if these are actually scare, but I can't seem to find them in decent shape. Oh, the Unexpected issue of Super DC Giant (S-23) has been a bear as well.

Very cool , haven't seen that one before. Nice Mr. Monsters too, I have the Mr. Monster / Wacky Squirrel crossover somewhere and I will have to dig it out.

I will have to check out Back Issue. I didn't mind the latest CBM mostly because I am new to horror comic collecting (only 8-12 months) and I like reading anything about it, no matter how simplistic. It is all relatively fresh to me!

What was so bad about the latest CBM? I thought it was ok, but then again you all would be able to catch errors a lot better than me.

Sweet copy of Ghosts 40....that has been on my list for awhile.

I know everyone has seen this cover a billion times before, but I was so stoked to find a nice copy that I had to post it. Not bad for $10 including shipping!

I still remember the first time I saw "Back to School". I was maybe 10 and I think it was the first time I saw nudity in a movie. Good memories

I never paid much attention to those issues before (since they are reprints and I am collecting the originals) and I never knew they were wraparounds. I will have to see if I can pick them up cheap sometime in the future. I especially like the back to issue 2 (the cover to the original issue 4 is one of my favorite Wrightson covers).

Thought I would post some Dell horror I picked up recently. These represent my first foray into non-DC horror and I think I will eventually branch out to include Charlton and Red Circle. These aren't particularly high grade but they were cheap and I like the covers.

I thought this was really cool, an add for Abyss fanzine. I would love to get my hands on that one too, but got outbid a few weeks ago on one on EBay. Anyone have one of these?

Here are a couple of interior pages, great stuff! This one is my favorite, I love the way the shadows cover Ichabod's face and the sleepy hamlet below.

Finally got my copy of this in the mail....thought I would be waiting years to come across one since there were only 500 made. I love the cover, my favorite horror character by Berni Wrightson. What could be better?

No problem. All's fair in love and comics. I think I may have found a pair for myself anyways (posted a scan in "Comic related non-comic "things you have"!"). They aren't as nice as yours if I remember correctly, but they don't seem to come up for sale too often so I think I will buy them.

Yeah, looks like they were Cardy. Hey Shiver, could you post those 2 House of Mystery paperbacks by Oleck/Wrightson again? I love them and I can't seem to find pictures of the first time you posted. (BTW I am the person you outbid on those Oh well, at least I know they will be well appreciated)
