Certainly Shiver. They just generalize most runs of 5-20 books only breaking out obvious standouts like Wrightson covers and 1st Frank Miller, etc. They make no differentiation of standard books that just have the best covers, which in my opinion is what makes a non-key breakout book.
I'm curious as to what many of you consider to be the unlisted "breakout books". We've talked about hard to find in high grade before, many times. Are these the breakout books, or just the HTF books? I've been buying alot, but selling very little in this genre, I'm curious from you sellers out there what specific books (outside of the obvious) have the most demand, and your guess as to why.
As a newbie collector of Bronze Horror, I would be interested as well.

Well, I did not find anything at the local show. However, I did find a few low to mid grade .30 variants at a local store. They are:
Avengers 148
Daredevil 133
Defenders 135, 136
Dr. Strange 13
Eternals 2
FF 171
It was odd that there were some in the first part of the alphabet, but not the last part.

San Antonio was a 30 cent test market, so good luck!
This is the reason I'm hopeful

Working with Lighthouse, I have seen a lot of very nice variants. The problem is that I never took the time to write all of them down in order to compile a list.
I haven't decided whether I want to try to collect these, but as long as I'm out there looking for stuff.....I might as well look for these too.

Thanks for the info Rob
I'll post what I find, if any.

I'm not sure how secretive this club is , but.....is there a list of all of the .30 and .35 variant issues? If so, would someone post it or pm me?
I am going to a local show this weekend and will try to look for some.

Drew and "wasonff" are one and the same...
Nice list!
I need to update my own list soon... but it almost might be easier to list the people who I haven't done deals with. One of my former managers recently starting posting here, I wonder if signing his paychecks counts as a deal? Probably a positive one, since most of them didn't bounce.
Thanks again for starting this thread Bruce, it's one of the two best on the boards...
House, I would think of it as a positive. Your pack mule goes a little faster when delivering paychecks (and W-2's). Must be because they aren't as heavy.
