  1. Figure I would show off my little office: The bottom two Prints I picked up a couple weeks ago from Kevin Eastman at HeroesCon: When this series , The Boys, first came out it was my favorite comic to read. I had a good buddy, who runs a comic shop in my area, go to MegaCon back in '07 and he brought me back this as a suprise present: I picked up these prints from Peter Laird in '08 at Heroes. He signed and drew a turtle head quick sketch on each: I went to Pittsburgh in 2007 for the Pittsburgh Toy Show to help run my friends booth and got to meet Anthony Daniels and get him to Autograph my C-3PO action figure: I saw these online and thought they were cool, I'm also a big History buff. The poster on the left is from France during WW1 asking its citizens to support 2nd Nation Defense War Bond. The french poliu(infantryman) is saying "We'll Get Em!" The one on the right is an American WW2 poster: My little collection of Trades and Omnibus's: Picked up both of these recently from some fellow boardies: The following three images are items I got this past year at Heroes from Kevin Eastman's booth: Last, but not least, is my Winchester gun safe, filled with an assortment of firearms: Thanks for looking!
  2. Awesome offers so far! Wish I could participate but I understand the reason for the rules. Hopefully this is still going on in 2 more months!
  3. I would say thats an awesome haul Chip, glad to see it , especially after your recent fiasco! Always good to see some Sunshine after a storm!
  4. Just got this from the UPS man. Wife bought me this for my Birthday, which is tomorrow , but it came a day early. Cant wait to get back home to start reading this!
  5. I dont really consider that place a traditional flea market, because these people rent and operate small individual booths and mostly sell a bunch of wholesale stuff like Rebel Flag shirts, belts, beach towels, As Seen on TV stuff, ect. When I think of Flea market I am thinking of people bringing their stuff from home, renting a table, and selling their used stuff. These people sell wholesale stuff everyday for a living. The North Myrtle indoor market has NOTHING of significance in it. Neither does the outdoor market in Little River. Might have to drive down to MB and check that place out. Pretty sure last time I was down there that place wasn't a flea market.
  6. Chip, Have you ever found any good "Scores" scouring flea markets and antique stores in this area? All I have ever found is a bunch of . I used to be pretty into Vintage Star Wars figures a couple years back and there is (or Was) this guy set up in the Myrtle Beach Indoor Flea market that had a couple Carded Return of the Jedi figures, but we wanted something crazy price for them and they were pretty beat up. I had to pass and last time I was there, which was about 2 years later, he still had them. That's as close to finding anything of worth.
  7. I was so stoked to meet Kevin Eastman at Heroes last weekend. I brought two items to get signed and when I arrived at around 12, I went straight to his booth. I walk up to his line, which had about 20 people in it and was thinking, "Okay, this isn't too bad...." As I approached the end of the line I asked the person at the end, "This is the end of the line right?" He looked at me and pointed to a humongous line against the side wall, and informed me THAT was the end of the line. It was like that scene in The Christmas Story where they go to the mall to meet Santa. Anyway, my friend was with me and neither of us wanted to wait for 4 hours so we were like, well at least we can walk up to his table and at least see him. After going to his table I found out that if you were willing to buy one of his Prints, Comics, or various other items, he would sign and personalize them for you and you didn't have to wait in any line at all. So I picked up two of this prints he was selling and an IDW TMNT #10 Cover B and was definitely a happy camper then!
