Looks like Lower grades are now consistently on the $1000/grade point and maybe a tad more http://www.ebay.com/itm/151726052204 I see a price jump though for the 3.0/3.5 and higher grades...

Technically it is not allowed as per ebay rules. If you decide to do so, you are still protected via Paypal protection as long as you ship the item with tracking. The one losing here will be ebay. But just like sales in these boards, you will be protected via paypal seller protection.

Yeah this has been discussed.. The gist of it is that this was a weak copy for its grade

+1 I was thinking of placing a high bid a few days ago and kept looking at the book inch by inch (i didnt want to put in a bid without really checking it out) I posted a calibration test on pgm awhile ago and that book was cbcs 4.5 but it presented better and I can say in better shape than the 5.5 on HA.

So let me see if I got this right as per the previous statements. So the acceptable "minimum" PQs: For Marvel SA: ow or better For DC SA: c/ow or better did i get that right?

Perhaps... I missed the PQ. Grading PQ is a little wish/washy, but brittle is generally not great. Yeah, it surely would make me hesitate, but for the grade it looks underpriced. And not everyone care so much about PQ. To an extent I agree with you...whilst i am one of the people who greatly considers PQ, the market of people who dont care what the PQ is still is higher than the ones like me who cares about them.

Wow that sold fast! It was underpriced and no one told him. :shrug: I have never bought from Greg, but usually his prices are a little too high for my tastes. In this case, it was the opposite. Good for whoever snagged it! Lesson learned. I shouldnt have posted the listing here Congrats to the buyer!
