  2. I acquired this piece last year and I Really HATE to let this go... but would need the funds towards getting a new car.

I guess it is also that time for someone else to enjoy and let this be a centerpiece for their collection. It is an original Joelle Jones Art and she even tweeted about this a few years back.

Right now, you can't even schedule a commission with Joelle so this is an amazing opportunity to acquire a piece. She truly is an amazing artist!

Selling this 12x18 masterpiece for just $600. I'll even throw in 2 FREE OA pages from Helheim which is the 1st app of the Witch. Offers/Timepayments are more than welcome

Shipping is $25 to USA or Canada

Here is the Tweet from Joelle Jones showing this Artwork

  4. Just had someone send me a message on a book I have listed with a BIN asking if I would be interested in selling through a Paypal invoice. Obviously that's not allowed and I would lose what little seller protection eBay offers so I'm not responding, but should I block him a well?

Technically it is not allowed as per ebay rules.

If you decide to do so, you are still protected via Paypal protection as long as you ship the item with tracking.

The one losing here will be ebay. But just like sales in these boards, you will be protected via paypal seller protection.

  5. I've been out of this forum a while, has this book been mentioned?

Seems cheap to me since I sold a 6.0 a couple of years ago for just a little less.

    Yeah this has been discussed..

The gist of it is that this was a weak copy for its grade

  6. To be honest, I thought the 5.5 on Heritage was overgraded. Looking at the large crease on the bottom right, the crease in the upper left and apparent 1/2" (or a bit more) split at the top of the spine, the tear on the upper right side, and other areas (along the spine, mid right side) with creasing/wear it is more of a 4.5/5.0 IMHO. It does have nice color and a clean white back cover, but there is too much damage on the front for a 5.5 as far as I can see.

    +1

I was thinking of placing a high bid a few days ago and kept looking at the book inch by inch (i didnt want to put in a bid without really checking it out)

I posted a calibration test on pgm awhile ago and that book was cbcs 4.5 but it presented better and I can say in better shape than the 5.5 on HA.

  7. I am not sure it was underpriced. The "Slightly Brittle Pages" on the label is a big issue for most of us here.........

    Perhaps...

I missed the PQ. Grading PQ is a little wish/washy, but brittle is generally not great.

Yeah, it surely would make me hesitate, but for the grade it looks underpriced. And not everyone care so much about PQ.

To an extent I agree with you...whilst i am one of the people who greatly considers PQ, the market of people who dont care what the PQ is still is higher than the ones like me who cares about them.

  8. Hi is Greg Reece a member of the boards? or if anyone had any dealings with him before via time payments?

I would like to inquire on the one below..

    http://www.gregreececomics.com/Comics/12953

    Wow that sold fast!

It was underpriced and no one told him.

I have never bought from Greg, but usually his prices are a little too high for my tastes. In this case, it was the opposite.

    Good for whoever snagged it!

Lesson learned. I shouldnt have posted the listing here lol

    Congrats to the buyer!
