How thick are those? I'd be afraid that the book behind it would have a "dot" impression after being in a box for a while. I would definitely avoid those for that reason and also because when stacking comics in a box, all the tops would in effect be thicker than the bottoms. If packed too tightly, could cause some spine stressing Been using them for years and pack my short boxes pretty tight (not packed so tight where it would physically hurt to pull books out of box) and haven't had any problems with them so far. But again, this is my personal preference as I don't want tape anywhere near books.

I believe I mentioned this in the big mylar post somewhere on this forum, but instead of tape I use small white velcro dots to seal my comics in mylar. Here are some pics as example for anyone who might want to look into alternative for tape (using my Batman Adventures #12). The velcro dots I found was the easiest way for me to open and close mylar bags with ease without having to stress about whether or not tape will ever touch comic as I'm pulling them out. Image of the velcro dot product: The dots are relatively unobtrusive as one side is transparent and the other white. It's an added expense compared to using tape, but I found it worthwhile. Though just want to stress I only know how it works on mylar; regular polybags may be tricky since they are 'softer' textured then the more rigid plastic of mylar.

Will TAT speed up once Con season is 'over'? Once NYCC rolls around and done, will TAT pick up until Feb/March? I was thinking of submitting more books around this time was curious if this was the way to go

Here's one of my oil paintings; done this a while back before getting into art school: This is a screen shot from a mini-film I worked on with a few buddies my soph. year in VFX/Computer animation program. Theme was a 'trains', so we modeled, rigged, textured, animated, lit, rendered the whole thing in 3 weeks. Outside of the general pacing/editing (which could use a lot of work... BUT it's the pilot so I'll cut them some slack), I see the potential of the show to be great. So far I'm enjoying most the characters and can't wait to see them become more fleshed out in future episodes. Guess I'll have to keep tuning in then.

Highly likely considering her popularity; though what I'm most worried about is the possible writer. His credits include the legend of chun li. Don't know if I want HQ in a movie if the writing would be so god awful.

With the news of a Deadpool movie coming to theatres in 2016, I'm hoping we finally get news of a Harley Q film in the future (upcoming months). There needs to be female led DC film and HQ is a hot commodity atm. Plus as a big HQ fan, I just want to see her in a live-action format

This is my first CGC submission and I'm pretty pleased with the grades I got so far. For some reason my scanner refuses to focus correctly so here are some slightly crappy pictures of my haul that just came in this week. Here are my books: One of my favorite characters, so regardless of grade I'm glad to own a copy of this book. Got this book free with a fables collection I bought like 2 years ago, so it was a pretty awesome find since it's by far the rarest of all the Fables books. Awesome grade for a rare book. Very pleased Thought this was going to grade at a 9.6, but was pleasingly surprised with the 9.8 I did get on the RRP. One of my favorite modern comic series, so glad to add this to my collection. One of my grails. I picked this up from Metropolis Comics for 65$ raw like a year and a half ago. Graded it at a 9.0, but really happy with the 9.4 it got. 1st appearance of one of my all-time favorite comic characters in the limited Karen Berger editorial edition (of around 600 copies). Very, very cool book.

Not very thick. I use mylites 2 and fullbacks combo (sometime halfbacks if they are cheap 'regular' books) for my entire collection and haven't had any problems. No imprint on books etc. I have around 1,500 comics atm all in short drawerboxes with small amount of room to easily sift through. I try not to cram to many books together, but if you over stuff your boxes I can see where the velcro dots might leave imprint. Hope that helps
