Well guys Ive gotten a few EC books in the last 2 weeks. I like to read them before I post them but its going to be awhile before I get to them all. First I got another MAD...Issue 17. I got this on ebay under $20. The description said “Inner cover has tape on spine . Black and white story in middle of the book pages 1-4 are detached from spine. Pages 5 and 6 from same story are detached from top staple. Book is complete.” When I got the book and counted pages it was missing 3 wraps. The missing story is "meet miss potgold". Seller refunded all the money and told me to keep the book. That was nice of him since I told him Id send it back. On the 3rd of October I went to a LCS that knows I collect ECs and got a hard to find book (for me in my price range). I got a Two-Fisted Tales 18 (1) and its a mess! Tape color touch winkles and all but I love it! I stay away from color touch on my books. I only had 1 before this and it was a gift. I have never knowingly bought a color touch book. Cant wait to read it! Next Crime Suspenstories 8. Got this on ebay no problems! Yay! And the last book, again ebay and its a mess. But which of my books are not? Crime Suspenstories 20 this was a collecting goal for the year. Its becoming more out of my price range so I decided that I can go a little higher since I had extra to spend this month due to overtime. This was the most I have paid for a single issue with shipping. This is a record year for what I'm spending on single books. But when I got it there were undisclosed problems that was not in the description. Seller was kind and we came to a decent refund making this the second most Ive spent on a book by $3.

I noticed this to. Its only when In on my computer. It works fine on my phone. But Ive reset my password twice in the last month.

Thanks. I didnt think you were directing anything towards me (i’ve seen your posts in the Covid thread), but I just wanted the clarification between you and I and anyone that might read the thread. Also one more clarification, My family is fine both financially and health. My two weeks of lost work is a loss for sure but we are doing well. And as I stated my wife gets full pay for being gone and she makes a little more than I did. I don’t want anyone in our community which by the way is absolutely amazing to feel obligated to buy any books because they think that we are hurting financially. I just wanted that out of the way. I’ll be posting a few books tomorrow. They are both atlas GGA books, and one of them is my first double cover I’ve ever owned. And maybe a few others.

I hope you don't think Im trying to downplay or act as if Covid is not a real thing. That was not my intention. I was only saying that we didn't have it as bad as most. We are in our 40s two kids 9 and 6. My wife is in healthcare (she is an OTA at an elderly facility) and her friends have seen residents pass and some of her coworkers have and or have it. My mom (65) works at the same place and has it as well and is not showing any symtoms. When my mom told me I got concerned, I talk to her 2-4 times a day. I agree that we should all take precautions and protect ourselves and others. Just clarification.

Thanks. I lost taste and smell and my wife had runny nose and congestion, no fevers. It lasted for about 4-5 days for us. Just going to need to move a fews books since I dont get payed. The wife does though so its not that bad.

So my wife and I got covid on the 5th and I need to move this book along with others this weekend after our lock down on Thursday. So $150 shipped for Batman 73 Thats cheaper than eBay at the moment, minus the coverless copy.

Yeah they went from $286- $2k for the 3-D book.

I saw them when they got listed. Its amazing! I follow all EC titles so when A new one is listed I can see when I open eBay. I bid on two of them and was outbid really quickly. it was fun while it lasted. Can’t wait to see what they goes for.

Sorry I missed last night! I took a Saturday shift. The Weller 107 was great. I was at my friends (who Ive mentioned a few times) for a UFC and he has almost everything thats "hard to get". So I get to drink a lot through him. But like all the other allocated bottles I wouldn't pay more than retail for it which I think is $50? He got it from his friend in Ohio which is "State Buy" and its retail there. I can't justify spending $100+ plus for any bottle! The most Ive spend on a bottle was $54 with tax. But really do you need anything other than Buffalo Trace ($25) if you're on a budget?!
