I just got this spidey from Walmart on Saturday. I don't buy the alternate colored logo versions like the xforce shown but I will get all the different covers like the black cat.  anyways I think this one is all new.  its at least not used for issue 33 but does anyone know if this was just taken from another issue which they have done in the past.  love the cover regardless.

My understanding is this is in fact new art never used before from Felipe Massafera, he has not done much work for Marvel in the US but certainly an artist to watch and a great cover as well. He rarely comes to the US but is huge in Brazil.

  2. So a highlight of the show was going through a vendor who had $1, $2, and $4 bins. Only to find out as soon as I pulled books he said he had them in the wrong boxes and would not honor the pricing. Specifically The Black Cat #1 regular Campbell cover he had maybe 6 of them in the dollar bin, only to say that they should have been in another bin and he pulled them. Then I found a Second Print of Venom First Host #3, in the $2 bin, and it had a pricing sticker of $2. He said he could not honor that as well. So basically I spent 30 minutes going through his bins trying to help him find the books he needed to change prices on. I did find some nice books that collectors turned sellers were offering at fair prices. All and all I would go back again, its nice to see a few people who you dont see at shows selling things that dont fit in their collection any more.

Yeah, they had plenty when I went this morning. Got my set!

Historically - on the show variants every morning he puts out X amount they sell out in less than and hour and do the same the next day. The idea is that everyone gets a chance each day, I also have experienced that they only allow 2 of each book per person of the show variants each day when they do that

  4. I would agree he has consistently been a producer of high quality art. I hope to track down some more info so I don't miss a commission at the show, I know some people like to have all their slots filled prior to the show and if you see then day one start of the day their list is full and they are no longer accepting commissions for the show

  5. Hello,

I'm headed to the Amazing Las Vegas show in June and wanted to set up a commission from Ron Lim, any suggestions on how to get in touch with him in advance to get on the list or costs that he has been charging recently?
