The Lost Continent by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Ace F-235 1st Edition thus February 1963 $35 Killer copy. Cover and interiors by Frank Frazetta. A beautiful composition. Blazing white. Square, bright and glossy. Near perfect spine, razor corners. Virtually no wear other than a hint of surface rubbing. Amazing for a 61 year old book.

The first I've been able to offer of the 1st printing since it took me forever to just barely upgrade this. Super tough black cover. Tiny tear to upper left, finger bend to back lower left, perfect spine.

Inside covers white, pages toned. Very nice for this one.

Ok, going to drop this sweet Maguire book for the last one here for this evening as the wife is wanting to take me out for a walk The Devil's Punchbowl by Duane Decker / Run If You Can by Owen Dudley aka Dudley Dean MacGaughey Ace D-439 1st Edition 1960 $50 SOLD to johnenock Incredible condition. Robert Maguire cover art on the "Devil's Punchbowl". "Run If You Can" looks like Harry Barton but it remains uncredited. Newsstand fresh looking copy with sharp corners, no creases, barely a mark anywhere. Light toning to pages. A premium copy that you won't be upgrading.

Awake To Darkness by Richard McMullen Popular Library 212 1st PB 1949 $15 Unsigned GGA cover credited to Belarski in the old guides but doesn't look like his at all. I would swear it's Barye Phillips, not Belarski Square and tight with bright colors and near white pages. Has some very light NCB creases on cover, maybe read once.

The Continental Op by Dashiell Hammett Dell 129 1946 $30 SOLD to OuterboroGuy @30% off Hard Boiled pulp collection with one of the most famous Dell Mapback Art Deco covers with a hanging man inside a badge. Solid binding, pages tight and supple. Unusually straight spine for this title, covers are nice and uncreased, small initial indented into cover at colophon. Light foxing, edge and cornerwear. Lamination is fully intact. A very nice copy of an all time classic vintage paperback.

Double Indemnity by James M. Cain Avon 60 1st small Avon edition 1st printing 1945 $75 SOLD to Goldust40 Paul Stahr cover art. Just a beautiful copy of what is, imho, far and away the most well painted early Avon cover The crisp colors, especially on the unfaded spine, are so unusual for this book. Square and tight, no reader crease, a couple of wisps of creases at edges. Pages are evenly toned and supple with a little foxing inside the front cover and first and last pages.
