  1. Take Me Home by Fletcher Flora Monarch Books No. 120 PBO 1959 $65 SOLD to TheComicsPreacher Sublime cover art by Harry Schaare graces this Lesbian classic. A very tough book in any condition. I'm probably crazy for selling it with what is happening with this genre. VF minus Square and glossy with the barest trace of a reader crease and a touch of wear at the upper right corner. "R" in pen on first page.
  2. Infidelity by Arthur Weigal Novel Library No. 24 1949 $40 SOLD to Goldust40 This famous GGA cover art, likely by Peter Driben, was re-used on the comic book Intimate Confessions No. 7 VF minus. It's square, tight and glossy. Some dust shadows on the back cover about all there is to report. A beautiful Avon!

Spine is split with front cover attached with archival tape. Pretty good otherwise. Perfect reader and "Looks great in a mylar"
  5. The Dream Is Deadly by Carter Brown Signet S1845 First Printing. October 1960 $25 SOLD to mstrange Incredible Good Girl with a skull cover art by Barye Phillips, one of the best VF Minus. Bright and glossy. Square and tight with great pages. Has a bit of surface disturbance on the cover, hard to see. A great copy.

  7. Seven Slayers by Paul Cain Avon No. 268 1950 $40 SOLD to Goldust40 Gorgeous Ray Johnson cover art on this noir collection from the Black Mask writer. Always considered a top Avon. Square, tight and bright with a small corner crease on back and light edgewear .
  8. Torture Garden by Octave Mirbeau Lancer 74-840 1965 $45 SOLD to Jimjum12 One of the rarest Frazetta paperback covers. Rarely seen and usually trashed. Square and tight with a slight ding to the lower right corner, light stain to the page edge on the back top. Smooth covers with light rubbing, no bad creases, much nicer than usual. She's on fire

  11. Once Off Guard by J.H. Wallis Popular Library No. 385 1951 $35 SOLD to johnenock Basis for the 1944 film noir "Woman in the Window" - a scarce book in any edition and this is a very nice high grade copy with great uncredited cover art. VF minus/VF Has a hairline reader crease and light indent on back cover, that's about it!
  12. Burmese Days by George Orwell Popular Library No. 459 1952 $12 SOLD to Goldust40 Nice GGA cover art in the style of Barye Phillips but uncredited. Pretty racy back cover blurb, Orwell didn't shy from controversy. In nice shape with some spine stresses and an odd bindery flaw, one page was bound out of sync and sticks out a little (not loose, very tight in the binding)

Jasmine Street by Clifford Dowdey Popular Library Giant G119 1953 $15 SOD to Goldust40 Beautiful GGA cover from the great period at Popular when they put art on the front and back. Mayers signature on the back cover art At 480 pages, this is truly a Giant of a book. Very hard to find these fat volumes in such nice shape. Has a light crease on upper front and a bit of edgewear. Incredible whites on that phat spine (pictured)
  14. The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux Dell Books No. 24 1943 $30 A classic horror with ghostly Gerald Gregg cover art. Slightly smaller "Giant Eyeball" logo, still much larger than on later numbers. Mapback of the Paris Opera House Tight with great color. Has spine slant, a few creases and wear at upper right of the back cover.

The Lone Wolf by Joseph Louis Vance Dell Books No. 10 1943 $15 SOLD to Goldust40 Gerald Gregg Art Deco cover art with the "Giant Eyeball" logo, much larger than on later numbers, and a nice mapback of Paris These first 10 Dells have such a great "Golden Age" feel to them, and are pretty tough to find not trashed. This one is square and tight, with light creasing and some waviness to the pages from old moisture exposure.
  16. Avon Ghost Reader Avon No. 90 1946 $20 SOLD to Goldust40 That "Hand"! Early original Avon collection featuring Lovecraft's "Dunwich Horror" and other ghostly greats A super solid copy with great color and pages. Has creases on the cover but they barely break any color. Much better than usual for this one.
  17. Little Caesar by W.R. Burnett Avon No. 66 1945 $35 Great cover art by pulp star, Paul Stahr. Re-used on the comic book Lucky Luciano and Murder, Inc. Square and tight without creases. Has staining to the bottom of the book, pages are browning and chipping at the edges. All that said, it's still a nice looking copy of a tough "Stone Cold Classic"
