  6. Frankenstein by Mary Shelley Lion Books No. 146 1953 1st Mass Market PB edition $65 SOLD to goldust40 Rare in any condition, this one has super nice covers, my former keeper. Great cover art, I think it's by Lou Marchetti. Fine plus. Square and glossy with a few light bends. Page block is slightly uneven but tight. Private library rubber stamp on title page and bottom page edge. That all said this is a sweet copy, the best I've had for sale.

Pages tight and supple. Appears unread, light finger bend, tiny color loss at corner and a bindery chip to top spine is about it to report.

Jackosn's first book and a tough pb in any condition. VG Plus. Solid tight spine and pages tight and supple with usual tanning. Covers show moderate creasing and wear. Date stamp and small price written at top. The main image is still clear and compelling.
