Who's this "Viperdays" you guys speak of?
this thread started off with a boatload of people piling in talking about how many copies of this they had pre-ordered.
Followed by many other people then trashing the book saying it would flop in secondary value a la bedlam.
Followed by others saying quality is what matters, not print run, a la Saga.
viperdays was one of the people who bought 100 copies, and it led to a lot of side arguments, and an underlining current of discussion on bubbles, methods of ordering comics etc.
Really, the recent sub-subjects are par for the course in this thread .
Anyway, let's get back to money with numismatic value!!
midtown can make 9.8s, who knew
Thanks for the info (thumbs u
I would have explained MK, but CBT likes to explain things

Ditto - guess the boards bought them all upLooks like my order for 5 copies from FP was cancelled. Seems they ran out of stock, or just decided to limit them to 1 copy even though the system allowed me to order five...Ugh! Sorry to hear it...
Same thing on a few copies i had.

I didn't like saga.
I think saga is one of the best books out right now
-
I wish the other printings were other colors
-
All the copies I've seen have this dirty kind of look...weird.

JJ, you're like the dad of many people here. They will say whatever to you, but realize you're right in the future, and learn the hard way.So let me get this straight...Tommy Voltage comes onto a message board and tells whoever reads it that this particular shop is awful in essence.
Larry, who is a retailer and I would think defends other retailers as he should basically calls out this poster and says he will share those statements with that LCS, who this just in runs a business with employees and people that count on employment, but Tommy did nothing wrong?
To think anyone would agree with Tommy Voltage's statement and not think there would be repercussions is laughable.
Remember, Larry is going to be around much much longer then many of you.
It's a good idea to think about who you are knocking before you post. People like Larry, Eric Stephenson etc have done a lot more good for comics then the majority of people bashing. We are lucky to have them as part of our community.
But what do I know...

I attempted to order a few copies and in return I just received an email stating that they don't ship outside of Europe now.... so how did you get your copy?I just got my tracking info - I live in chicago and they shipped my order

Good Lord this thread is heating up again?
This thing's been locked and unlocked more often than Jenna Jameson's chastity belt.

So with the imminent crash predicted...
Does that mean that half of you will disappear?
Crosses fingers

Placed an order with them and haven't heard back yet

no doubt
Yeah, pretty sure EvilAsh waited 2 years for a Tony Moore one2 months is reasonable. Just be glad you are not on a 6 month wait for a commission!I wish it was only 2 years!
Try nearly 5 years
Totally worth it though

Seems like everyone was able to purchase OA but me --- late to the party

Unfortunately, he's not doing it anyway, regardless of this episode.

I got this from Nate last week - seems like a very genuine guy, just really busy. Doubt you have anything to worry about
"That's no problem. Thanks for supporting the book!
Unfortunately, due to the time and effort necessary to keep Nowhere Men on a monthly schedule and the competing demands of shipping out multiple orders, original art from Nowhere Men is not available for purchase at this time. My aim is to sell it online two months out of the year and hope to begin selling again in the fall. I will, however, sell original art in person at most comic conventions in the meantime."

I couldn't wait so got the rest on comixology
SAGA from Image Comics
