As a woman, she is quite stunning and has beautiful hair which enhances her looks.

As Batwoman, any baddie thinks 'grab her by the hair'!

I get that she wants to keep her hair as a person - but for this role, as Batwoman, it just seems a bit silly. I'd imagine Phoenix or Ledger type 'Jokers' would have it on fire in the first 3 seconds....

But hey, the shows been garbage from day 1 so why let dangerously long hair get in the way (shrug)

It's petty, but for some reason really bugs me!

Reminds me of a conversation I had with my girlfriend about why all the women MMA fighters go with cornrows/braids

Interesting that that pinup was used in an issue after Spidey 300. But it was drawn before Spidey 298 was released. Note the ‘87 under the McFarlane signature.

Makes sense...the spidey doesn't look very "McFarlane-esque". The webs are all McFarlane though....

May well be his first spidey art although published after 298

  5. Just curious if anyone knows how Ditko was able to support himself later in life? Much was made of the Kirby's family and moving forward the debate about work for hire/creator rights but not much is mentioned about Ditko. He still maintained his studio and lived in Manhattan which couldn't have been cheap especially for someone who hadn't had anything published since the 90's

I had something similar happen to me on a book I had bought which was an X-men 101. Upon cracking it and inspecting I found a small dot of color touch. When I contacted CGC regarding it they told me if the color touch was not done to improve the visual appeal of the book it is just a marking on the book, treated no different than as if someone had wrote on the cover and graded accordingly. When I asked why the mark wasn't in the notes they said markings on the cover are not always noted.

this has always bothered me...we've all seen books with the date written on it in grease pencil and this has less of an impact on grade than a touch of ink on the spine. Shouldn't all ink or writing on the cover be subject to a downgrade?
