  3. everytime I've found an aurora monster kit in the wild... it's been way over priced... The one time I did find a decent priced Dracula kit... It was missing the ring

  6. I have the original store display diorama for Monster Scenes sitting in my living room. Sadly I have no camera with which to take a photo of it. oh man... that's gotta be awesome

  8. you know what? out of all the ads in horror mags... I'm still really curious about this one have you or anyone one know ever purchased a monkey from one of these advertisements? maybe a friend of a friend got one... was this for real?

  11. Cool! I have a love/hate relationship with reproductions... I love that there are quality reproduction items out there for cheap... On the other hand, I'm nervous about it too! For example, I collect retro game cartridges. Some of these carts can be very tough to find and even tougher to find in nice condition for a reasonable price. There have been a lot of repros flooding the market lately and sometimes they can be very tough to identify if not listed as such. My approach has been the same for when used to collect transformers. I look for signs of "play" If the toy or cart looks too good to be true then it's probably a repro. Most original carts and toys will have visible signs of play... and when shopping online it can sometimes be tough to identify these via photos and misleading descriptions anyways, for me... I want the original... I want the real deal... that's just me though I love finding this stuff in the wild... That would be my perfered method
  12. I've always loved reading and drooling over the ads in the monster mags... still to this day I meticulously inspect each ad page when I come across one in a mag looking forward to seeing that skull mug Jay

  14. here is something neat I picked up awhile back friday the 13th jason hockey mask lights these were distributed to video stores in order to help promote for the film these babies are still unopened after all these years
