  1. Finally got a copy of book three....
  2. I've got mine on pre order at my LCS... I'm very excited!
  3. I found someone set up at one of those yard sale tables this morning.... It was one of those by the pound sort of deals... Highlights of the haul
  4. I've been looking for a clean copy like that for a long time now... I had a ratty one a few years ago as well, but I too sold it and instantly had sellers remorse. Again, Congrats on the find!
  5. ..... these are cool. I never owned these two issues. Congrats. Here's a book I picked up at the VaComicon 2-Day Show . I sold my last copy and missed it almost immediately. This one is similar in grade.... but it cost more..... oh, well. GOD BLESS... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) (thumbs u Fantastic copy! It looks real sharp!
  6. Beautiful display!!! I'm glad it found a good home! Now, Joe Rock... If and when you ever decide to let it go, let me know.... I'm your guy! Congrats on a great addition to your collection! .....and Ewan.... What ever happened to that signed copy pictured at the beginning of this thread?
  7. .....and apparently there is a 2nd volume omnibus out there as well... Also only in Italian and limited to 100 copies.... Any information on these would be greatly appreciated...
  8. Sorry about the poor lighting in that second post of photographs
  9. Well, to start off... This book is incredibly massive! It's all in black and white, beautifully laid out, and it came with a gorgeous two sided bookmark.... I don't know much about it beyond the fact that It's an Italian omnibus containing the first three books by Moore. As well as, ghostdance, yesterdays gambit, and several more extras... It is numbered 11/100 (as well as the bookmark). I have never seen one before this... I would love to know more about it if anyone knows anything... Not even sure who published it or when...
  10. Right up there as one of my favourite comic book formats. I don't see enough of these, otherwise I'd have more. I lucked into a large collection of these going back some 4-5 years ago, which pushed up my total to nearly 100. I have them sitting in an Iron Man DVD movie stand I got from a retailer, and it works like a great bookshelf for these. These and the blue ribbon digests are among some of my favourites. Not sure if this is appropriate, but if anyone can give me advice as to "value" that would be appreciated. Roughly between $10-15.... And sometimes up to $20 for the more popular story covers...
  11. I really enjoy this thread... Because there are 6 great flea markets within a 50 mile radius of my home and on most weekends I will go to at least 3... However, most weekends I come home empty handed... But when I read this thread, it reminds me of the thrill of the hunt! I'm always excited to see and read about everyone's finds!
  12. Yeah, they are hit or miss down here. I always have the best luck at the "yard sale tables" early in the AM as opposed to the vendor booths
  13. Wow, great haul... And a great time of year for the flea market
  14. Just arrived... The latest addition to my MM family...
  15. Yes, indeed I did Ewan the Miracle Exporter.... The more I think about it though... What are the chances of either one of those fanzines resurfacing in the near future... Let alone both in the same week!!!!
  16. And...there they go... I was out bid on both of them...
  17. We drove up to St. Augustine for Halloween... Went on the worst ghost tour ever... But then found the flea market on the way back home.... I'd say it more than made up for the ghost tour....
