My issue 1 came back from CGC. Was hoping for a 3 but guess 2.5 will have to do.

Maybe my point was missed, for that kind of money a run of 5k or more is not attractive to me. A run of 1k or 2k has a limited feel to it. Probably still going to buy it so my dependents have even larger toys to try and sell when I die.

Regretted selling a couple skiffs a few years back. I don't mind the retail as much as the run, if it was 1K total that would have a quicker sign off. Phillip

Did you grab the Top Notch 2 on ebay that just ended? Some of us may have cost you a little more on it but it seemed to sell pretty reasonably to me. Phillip

No kidding, I remember seeing it in the sales forum, jaw dropping. I recall Bedrock having a super sharp Issue 2 for sale, Comcav scooped it up immediately!

I have been trying to finish a GA run for a while and when searching War Covers etc I though oh wow, Victory Comics is only 4 copies that can be done. I picked up the first issue fairly quickly and either was working or not paying attention when others sold on here. I know a few traded hands here in the past 4-5 years. I have an alert on Ebay for the title and weekly get the notification the photo copies are available, I had not seen any issue available for ever and with my luck on the boards I figured it would be pure luck to find. Last week the alerts went off and @Nikelspot had issues 2 and 4 listed. They both showed up today as advertised. 4 was a little more costly and while I would like higher grade just haven't seen enough to be picky and these look great in Mylar. I just sent issue 1 off to CGC in December so no group shot but here is my partial run. I do like the covers though, Issue 1 he is taking off the gas mask and in issue two even though the Nazi's have their hands up they are getting blasted anyway. The Conqueror was pretty ruthless. I would like to see others copies if you don't mind sharing so please share! Ps if anyone wants to part ways with issue 3 please let me know. Thanks Phillip

Just moved my son into his own house (directly beside Augusta National, poor kid) so I may get a room to display. For now the spinner comic selection has been reduced to a few titles, force vending per say.
