Sorry to hear that jreezy ..i crack blue labels all the time and thankfully they've maintained grade. Did you submit the book yourself, pass it to someone else to have it signed for you? To go from a 9.8 to a 9.2 is a big jump..sounds like the book was damaged during CGCs transit perhaps.

Yikes. About time it saw an increase..glad I have one already I'm getting tired of seeing the Lizard book skyrocket each auction. Now let's see if it could maintain that price or if this was a one time deal. Quick someone post a slab for $2000

Wow Nice. I'll post my collection when it gets back.. I have a small stack of HTF books currently being pressed, and then off to be signed by Campbell..hopefully if he appears at Atlantic City Boardwalk Con this year. I'll snap some shots when they get back though from pressing. Currently I mainly collect Campbell books, the rest of my modern collection has been sold off. Strictly Campbell, Hughes and Artgerm now.

Not sure about ASM, but X-Men goes between $80-90 for CGC 9.8 . Depending on what you paid for it raw, but for a $30-40 book plus grading fees, (pressing fees?), minus eBay seller fees..you'd probably see $10 profit..maybe a little more..not really worth it in my opinion especially if you don't have a 9.8. On the other hand I do think the book has future potential and could see a price increase..so I would hold onto it longer. Personally I've been buying them here and there when I find them cheap and look 9.8 worthy.

Yeah I know, theyre probably burried in boxes with people not even realizing what they have. What was the back story with these again? Is it the same as the UXM 510 sketch with them being handed out at conventions?

Insane, I was thinking of bidding but had a feeling it would go for a ridiculous amount. $540 and all the seller had was an image of the front cover and NM. And I thought $400 for a 9.6 slab was too much a few months back.

It might be easier to just post what pieces you dont own ....I look forward to seeing the rest, something tells me theres more to come

I grabbed 2 of them from the so called place a few weeks back at the $50 price.. both arrived beautiful 9.8..great looking book. I knew I should have ordered more..but I felt lucky getting two in such great condition I figured I'd quit while I was ahead.

I had two sets come in..the Extraordinary books are 9.8 candidates but the Uncanny both have what looks like an over spray/fine mist of ink all over the back. Anyone else?
