    The side's at the top & bottom are split & there's a slight gap at the corner posts, do CGC consider this a faulty case or a unverified grade?

    If the case has unbroken corner posts but is split & bowed apart along the top & bottom side edges, is this a tell of case tampering, making the comic book grade unverified?

    I've had the same problem with top & bottom side edges have split & bowed apart with a 2 MM gap. The sleeve was very tight & I had difficulty removing it, after which the seal broke. The comic looks wavy & moisture entering is a big concern, anyone have the same problem?

    I've a Golden Age case that is split apart along the entire top & bottom side edge's where the two halves should be sealed together. I don't see any damage to the corner posts(seem unbroken). However I'm not an expert, but the gaps are very obvious (approx.1.5 to 2.5 mm.) The top & bottom side edge corner's have a slight 1 mm gap which isn't present on other 2017 cases of the same make. Is this proof of case tampering, a faulty case, no longer has a verified grade or other?
