A couple recent additions.

Happy New Year to all the boardies. I’m starting to change my focus so I’m letting a few pieces go. Depending on how this first on goes, I might add more. Please feel free to ask any questions. Due to the pandemic, I prefer to ship via FedEx. For me, it’s been the most reliable. Cost of shipping will be based on location and I’m willing to pay half of the cost. payment via check/money order preferred. First up is a great splash by Jerome Opena from Avengers #1.

I’ve been trying to get a Miracleman page and also was looking at bisley ABC warriors. From what I’ve seen, Davis Miracleman is 5-10k at least? Bisley ABC’s are 5-10k for really nice examples What about other Miracleman artists? Thoughts and opinions

I’m look for pages by Dillon, Bolland, Gibson, McMahon, Davis, Leach, Bisley, etc. I prefer Dredd, marvelman/miracleman, ABC warriors, etc. Thanks

So I’m thinking about changing focus in 2021. Recently I’ve been interested in British art from Bisley, Leach, Kennedy, Dillon, etc. So most likely letting a few pieces go to start this new obsession. I’d love an early page but now I’ve seen some crazy prices. In fact, a person on Facebook is asking $37,500 for a Raphael 1 page.

$10,800 for the Bruce Timm Harley piece. That’s a truly strong number.

Thanks. What you just said is the reason I’m skeptical in getting a piece. I’d really like a piece. as an example, the Comic Art Live Con had a pice from Hard Boiled for sale. I liked it but after researching I saw that it might be a prelim. It was ink on paper and a panel from the first issue. For $5500, I was definitely hesitant.

So I sold some pieces at the virtual con and I’m looking for some other pieces. In addition to a hewlett tank girl, I’m looking for these: Kieth - marvel comics presents (wolvie) Darrow - Hard Boiled Tim Sale - dark victory or Long Halloween McFarlane- Hulk Michael Turner Thanks in advance

Thanks for the info. So the panels would be like the prelims with the vellums being the published page? Which explains why the vellums are so much more. I guess? Trying to figure it out because I’d like to get a page.

I’ve recently been looking at Darrow Hard Boiled art. So did Geoff do all the art on vellum or did he do some on art board? I’m confused because I see panels, vellum, prelim, etc... What is considered the original art to get? Any help or information would be appreciated. Thanks

So I ended up selling a few pieces and saw some great art. I have to say that the Con was incredible. Where else could you find so much art in one place at one time. Plus meeting some new people. It’s definitely a good break from what’s currently happening in the world. I’ll be back in the Spring. Thanks to Bill at CAF for putting on a great con!
