  1. I believe I found the Charlton version first and then found a copy of EC published version.
  2. Actually my Mad's go much further than 30 but first Alfred full cover seemed like a good place to stop for a EC collection. Have both issues of Impact one Charlton and EC published issue. I've never picked up any other issues of Mad 28 aways see the Guided Missiles / ANC version. Frontline Combat 9 font color variant on the cover also not something I'm actively looking for. I do have Shock Illustrated 3, surprised no one has asked about it.
  3. Thanks Robot Man, if you ever have a itch to sell your Tales of Terror one Annual let me know.
  4. I don't think I have shared this picture before, I laid out this large floor shot after I finished the last run I needed to complete my collection of every EC from Pre-Trend, New-Trend and New Direction with Mad's up to issue 30. Tiny-Tot was the last EC run I needed to finish took about a year to find the last issue I needed. No they are not all NM my average grade is probably VG/F and I have been slowly replacing the real low grade books when the opportunity arises. I have everything but a couple very rare give aways KO Punch etc. and the first EC Horror Annual, Tales of Terror. Started collecting EC's in the early 70's with the first EC reprints East Coast comics.
  5. Original art for the first story in Billy the Kid # 20, also used as the cover.

  9. Here's a few I have in the pulp collection.
  10. I completed the run a few years back but never scanned them all, may have to do that now. The covers are great on this title but also their are great one page illustrations also through each book usually at the start of every story.
  11. Let see your Planet Stories pulps a fun and fairly affordable run to complete.
  12. Question: I have never started a topic before and wish to edit the topic title, should have put "Stories" not "Story". So can I edit it?
  13. This title started in April 1926 we are getting closer to the big 100. Here are some early covers I have in my collection.
  14. A Forry copy I picked up a few years ago on Ebay, seller never mentioned the address stamp.
